Currently most visitors toBarbados are visa exempt. However, certain nationals must obtain avisa from one of theBarbadian diplomatic missions before being allowed to enter the country.

As of 1 October, 2025 the four nations of: Barbados, Belize, the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines offer the right of indefinite stay for their aforementioned citizens.[1]
Holders of ordinary passports of the following countries and territories may enter Barbados without a visa for the following period:[2][3][4]

In addition, citizens ofSomalia holding a Titre de Voyage issued by the United Kingdom may enter Barbados without a visa for up to 28 days.
Holders of diplomatic, official and service passports issued byAlbania (28 days),Armenia (28 days),Argentina,Belize (180 days),Brunei (180 days),Cambodia,Cuba (28 days),China (30 days),Costa Rica (30 days),Georgia (28 days),Haiti,Hong Kong,Macao (30 days),Malaysia (180 days),Mexico (30 days),Moldova (28 days),Nicaragua (28 days),Indonesia,Ireland (180 days),Japan,Senegal,Peru (28 days),Philippines,Singapore (180 days),Thailand,United Kingdom (180 days),Vietnam andVenezuela (28 days) may enter Barbados without a visa for up to 90 days (unless otherwise noted).[3]
Holders of diplomatic, official and service passports issued byAzerbaijan,Belarus,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,Timor-Leste,Turkmenistan,Ukraine andUzbekistan require a valid diplomatic visa in advance.[citation needed]

Short-stay visa waiver signed between Barbados and the European Community on May 28, 2009. Nationals of both countries may visit the other country for a stay of up to three (3) months in any six-month period
