Vinja Vas (pronounced[ˈʋiːnjaˈʋaːs];Slovene:Vinja vas) is a settlement in theGorjanci Mountains in theCity Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeasternSlovenia. The area is part of the traditional region ofLower Carniola and is now included in theSoutheast Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]
A smallchapel with abelfry in the western part of the settlement is dedicated toMary Help of Christians and belongs to theParish ofPodgrad. It was built in 1905 in aNeo-Romanesque style.[3]
