Villejuif–Gustave Roussy (French pronunciation:[vilʒɥifɡystavʁusi]) is an underground station onLine 14 andLine 15 (the latter currently under construction) of theParis Métro. It is part of theGrand Paris Express project. The station is located in the town ofVillejuif near theInstitut Gustave Roussy, hence its name.
The extension of metro Line 14 opened on 24 June 2024.[1] For the first few months of operation, Villejuif–Gustave Roussy served only as an emergency exit, where trains passed through without serving this station. As of 18 January 2025, the Line 14 platforms opened for service at Villejuif–Gustave Roussy; the Line 15 platforms are expected to be put into service at this station with the rest of the line in late 2026.[2]
