Villegailhenc (French pronunciation:[vilɡajɛ̃k]ⓘ;Occitan:Vilagalhenc) is acommune in theAudedepartment in southernFrance.
In mid-October 2018, Villegailhenc,Conques-sur-Orbiel, andVillardonnel, andTrèbes, along with nearby areas along the riverAude, were devastated when the river flooded after intense rain. 12 people were killed, including anun.[3]
