Villaviciosa is situated on the central eastern coastline, and borders the Asturian municipalities ofGijón andSiero to the west,Sariego,Nava,Cabranes andPiloña to the south andColunga to the east. The total area is 276.23 square kilometres (106.65 sq mi)
