Vicki Saylor is an Australian actress fromTownsville in Northern Queensland.[1] For her performance inCall Me Mum she won the 2007 Australian Film Institute Award forBest Guest or Supporting Actress in Television Drama.[2] She plays Flo, a Torres Strait islander woman, who while ill in hospital is reunited with her son who was taken from her as a baby many years ago.[3] Saylor is aTorres Strait Islander ofDarnley Island (Queensland) descent.[4]
