Viù (Arpitan:Vieu) is acomune (municipality) in theMetropolitan City of Turin in theItalian regionPiedmont, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest ofTurin.

Viù's central square used to feature a wooden statue ofPinocchio, which was 6.53 meters tall and weighed about 4000 kilograms.[3] The statue has since been removed.[4]
