Avehicle for hire is avehicle providingprivate transport orshared transport for afee, in whichpassengers are generally free to choose their points or approximate points of origin and destination, unlikepublic transport, and which they do not drive themselves, as incar rental andcarsharing. They may be offered via aridesharing company.
