Vassar Glacier is a 4.3-mile (6.9 km) longglacier in theU.S. state ofAlaska. It trends southeast toCollege Fjord, 2 mi (3.2 km) west ofCollege Point and 52 mi (84 km) west ofValdez. It was named forVassar College inPoughkeepsie, New York, by members of the 1899Harriman Alaska Expedition.^[1]
