Jenyvalice Vargas Torres is aPuerto Ricanprofessional wrestler, best known by the ring nameVanilla Vargas orVanilla. She is currently working forLucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). She has also worked for promotions likeWorld Wrestling Council andWorld Wrestling League.
Vargas made her debut under thering name Lady Boricua on the independent circuit teaming with Princesa Dorada and was defeated by Ludark Shaitan.[2] In June 2015, Boricua made her debut under the new ring name Vanilla Vargas was defeated before Roxxy in an individual single.
On July 16, 2016 inConsejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, where she teamed with Mima Shimoda andPrincesa Sugehit where they defeatedDalys la Caribeña, La Comandante & Reina Isis.
On March 3, 2017, Vargas defeated Miss Hannah to win the vacant CKCW Women's Championship being her first title. On July 8, Vargas made her first successful defense of the CKCW Women's Championship againstTaya. On November 11, Vargas defeated Miss Hannah for her second successful title defense. On February 10, 2018, at CKCW New World Rising, Vargas defeated Solo Darling for her third successful title defense.
On June 26, 2018 Vargas was announced as working forLucha Libre AAA Worldwide, representing the AAA alongside a number of other independent wrestlers. On July 21, 2018, atAAA vs. Elite, Vanilla Vargas made her debut in AAA teaming withFaby Apache andLa Hiedra, winning to Team Elite (Keira,Lady Maravilla andZeuxis).[3] On August 26 atTriplemanía XXVI, Vanilla teamed up withEl Hijo del Vikingo for theAAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship againstDinastía andLady Maravilla,Angelikal andLa Hiedra and Niño Hamburguesa and Big Mami, where they managed to retain their titles.[4]
On September 7, 2018 in Cancun, Vanilla teaming withLady Shani, Lady Maravilla where they defeatedKeyra,La Hiedra andScarlett Bordeaux.
On August 3, 2019 atTriplemanía XXVII, Vanilla teamed up withAustralian Suicide for theAAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship againstSammy Guevara and Scarlett Bordeaux, Niño Hamburguesa andBig Mami and Lady Maravilla andVillano III Jr., where Maravilla and Villano were crowned as new champions.
On August 30, 2019, Vanilla made her debut forImpact Wrestling as part of the promotion's partnership with teaming withKiera Hogan andMadison Rayne where was defeated againstChik Tormenta,Jordynne Grace andRosemary.[5]
In 2021, she married late fellow professional wrestlerBroderick Shepherd, better known by the ring name Australian Suicide.[6] On July 7, 2020, she and Shepherd announced on Twitter that they were expecting their first child together.[7] Shepherd died on 6 March 2025 at the age of 32.[8]
