Valperga is acomune (municipality) in theMetropolitan City of Turin in theItalian regionPiedmont, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north ofTurin, in theCanavese historical region.

It is home to theSacro Monte of Belmonte, a site ofpilgrimage and worship close to it. TheSacro Monte was built in 1712 at the initiative of theFriar Minor Michelangelo da Montiglio. In 2003, the sanctuary was inserted byUNESCO in theWorld Heritage List. TheValperga Castle is also located in the town.
