The BAE SystemsValanx was one of six competitors for aJoint Light Tactical Vehicle that will supplement theHumvee.[1] The Valanx featured lightweight advanced armour and aV-hull for crew protection.[2] It was developed withNavistar.
The Valanx was not selected for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the program.[3]
