Vagiz Nazirovich Khidiyatullin (Russian:Вагиз Назирович Хидиятуллин;Tatar:Вагыйзь Назир улы Һидиятуллин; born 3 March 1959 inGubakha,Perm Oblast,Russian SFSR) is a formerfootballer who played as central defender.

He earned 58 caps and scored 6 goals for theSoviet Union national football team,[1] and played for them in the1980 Summer Olympics,1988 UEFA European Championship and the1990 FIFA World Cup (also included in the1982 FIFA World Cup squad, but did not play). He was the founder and President of Russian Professional Players Trade Union and is ofTatar origin.
