Vachnesh Tripathi born in 1920[1] is an Indian writer, journalist and a former editor ofPanchjanya,[2] a weekly news magazine published by theRashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.[3] A former president of theChandra Shekhar Azad Janmashatabdi Samaroh Samiti,[4] Tripathi has authored several books.[5][6][7] He was honored by theGovernment of India, in 2001, with the fourth highestIndian civilian award ofPadma Shri.[8]He died on 30 November 2006 in Lucknow.
