
Võ Duy Dương (武維楊; 1827–1866), alsoThiên Hộ Dương (千戶楊) was aVietnamesewarlord who, after the submission of theVietnamese government to the French in 1862, continued to fight against theFrench (1862-1866) in thewetlands ofĐồng Tháp Mười.[1]
In July 1965, Thiên Hộ Dương and his deputy,Đốc Binh Kiều led their forces attacked and defeated the French under Interim governerPierre-Gustave Roze atMỹ Trà [vi] andMỹ Quý [vi].[2]: 40–41
