Hello! Voting in the2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. Alleligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
TheArbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting theWikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to imposesite bans,topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Thearbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Blitz: Our October Copy Editing Blitz focused on July and August 2022 request months; and articles tagged for c/e in December 2021 and January 2022. Seventeen of those who signed up claimed at least one copy-edit, and between them copy-edited forty-six articles. Barnstars awarded arehere. Drive: In the November Backlog Elimination Drive, thirty editors signed up, twenty-two of whom claimed at least one copy-edit. Both target months—December 2021 and January 2022—were cleared, and February was added to the target months. Sixteen requests were copy-edited and 239 articles were removed from the backlog. April Blitz: 14 of the 25 editors who signed up for theApril 2025 Copy Editing Blitz copy edited 92,769 words in 30 articles. Barnstars awarded are availablehere. May Drive: 31 of the 54 editors who signed up for theMay 2025 Backlog Elimination Drive copy edited 384,392 words in 216 articles. Barnstars awarded arehere. June Blitz: 10 of the 12 editors who signed up for theJune 2025 Copy Editing Blitz copy edited 26,652 words in 13 articles. Barnstars awarded arehere. A lot has happened in the WikiProject over the last 11 months. Next year promises to continue that trend withVital Signs 2026, a campaign to achieve our goal of having all our top-importance articles at B-class or above.
