Thank you today forManchester United F.C. 9–0 Ipswich Town F.C., introduced (in 2020): "A dark moment in my soul. Everything Manchester United touched seemed to fly into the net. A record-breaking match which stood the test of time, only having been equalled earlier this season."! - My story today is about a song a friend gave me, very literally: inventing a melody, singing and playing guitar.Yesterday's was about a great singer, - dark moment that she died, but we can still listen to her voice. In case you like Barber better than Mozart, trythis. --Gerda Arendt (talk)09:58, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So I'm asking you if you could help me out with writing flaws or MOS violations that I might've done.

Hello darkness my old friend, I have come to talk to you again...
I don't know if you remember me, or the Simple English Wikipedia. You haven't edited there in like 10-15 years. I just wanted to point out that you helped create and promote the articleIpswich Town F.C. at Simple English Wikipedia, where your edits make up almost 60% of all edits. It turns out that the article, which is currently a Very Good Article, is listed for demotion (seehere). Feel free to leave a comment, if you feel like it, you have edited there long enough to know how the process works.Kind regardsEptalon (talk)11:00, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Happy New Year and Happy New WikiCup! The 2026 competition has just begun and all article creators, expanders, improvers and reviewers are welcome to take part. Even if you are a novice editor, we hope the WikiCup will give you a chance to improve your editing skills as you go. If you have already signed up, your submissions page can be foundhere. If you have not yet signed up, you canadd your name here, and a bot will set up your submissions page within one day, ready for you to take part. Any questions on the scoring, rules or anything else should be directed to one of the judges, or posted to theWikiCup talk page.
For the 2026 WikiCup, the highest-ranking contestants will receivetournament points at the end of each round, and final rankings are decided by the number of tournament points each contestant has. This is the same scoring system that we had last year. If you're busy and can't sign up in January, don't worry: Signups are open throughout the year. To make things fairer for latecomers, the lowest-scoring contestants are no longer eliminated at the end of each round.
The first round will end on 26 February. The judges for the WikiCup this year are:Cwmhiraeth (talk ·contribs ·email),Epicgenius (talk ·contribs ·email),Frostly (talk ·contribs ·email),Guerillero (talk ·contribs ·email) andLee Vilenski (talk ·contribs ·email).
