SwisterTwistertalk21:31, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]Your article was in a draft status and not ready to publish, so I have moved it toDraft:Playing for Thrills so you can work on it at your own pace. This way it will not be deleted for being incomplete.
When you are ready to have it published, click Submit Draft and it will be reviewed by volunteer editors. Make sure it meets the requirements ofWP:Notability (books); you must show that the book hascoverage in serious media like professional reviews, newspaper/magazine articles discussing it, etc. Hope this helps!MatthewVanitas (talk)20:55, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingFile:TieNingAuthor2006.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim offair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails thefirst non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may haveno free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking onthis link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per thenon-free content policy. Hello, I'mZackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions toWang Shuo. I noticed that when you added the image to theinfobox, you added it as athumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (seeWP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as|caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing)20:44, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploadingFile:WangShuoAuthor.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required byWikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available fromWikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as animage copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with ourcriteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at themedia copyright questions page. Thank you.Ramaksoud2000(Talk to me)23:58, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed onFile:JonOssoff2017.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is anon-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of thenon-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under thefair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the{{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line withWikipedia's policies and guidelines.MB298 (talk)23:25, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added toCategory:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found atWP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact thebot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them atWikipedia talk:Non-free content.RonBot (talk)17:14, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please contact thebot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them atWikipedia talk:Non-free content. Hello, S1d6arrett23,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Libcom should be deleted. Your comments are welcome atWikipedia:Articles for deletion/Libcom.
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide onhow to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Thanks for uploadingFile:LibcomLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under aclaim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. A tag has been placed onLarry Rice (pastor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguouscopyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy fromhttp://www.larryriceministries.org/biography. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source ofinformation, but not as a source ofsentences. This part is crucial:say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violatorswill beblocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then youmust verify that externally by one of the processes explained atWikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, seeWikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look atWikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a questionhere.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. The articleRed Guards (USA) has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't appear to meet thenotability guideline for organisations or thegeneral notability guideline. The article hasone reliable source that discusses the group in depth; the others are variously primary sources, unreliable sources, or contain only passing mentions or no mentions at all. I haven't been able to find significant coverage elsewhere.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. In particular, thespeedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andarticles for deletion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion. – Arms & Hearts (talk)14:47, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
