Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content totalk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you mustsign your posts by typing fourtildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button

That is very good work on theWilliam H. Ryan, Jr. article. Take a look at the talk page, where I have added appropriate templates. When you create a new article, take a look at related articles to see what templates would be appropriate, and be ready to add them right after you create the article. Also, take a look at the inline citation I added. The quote is not ideal, but the article itself is interesting. Notice, too, that this is a reliable secondary source. Your inline citation is to a primary source, but reliable secondary sources are preferred. You have created an excellent stub article, and with improvements it will become class=start. --DThomsen8 (talk)20:30, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I just wanted to let you know I changed the wording in the edit to the Dereck Schmidt page. You listed the health care reform bill as “Obamacare” this is not an official term but rather a slang term started by conservatives and can be taken offensively by some. Please refrain from using this terminology in the future, our personal opinions to not belong in wikipedia. Thanks.--Politicsislife (talk)01:24, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for uploadingFile:CongressmanJohnYarmuth.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set ofimage copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag fromthis list, click onthis link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message onWikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk)01:08, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a way we may be able to reach out you to via email about an article you've contributed to?

You may want to consider using theArticle Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to readthe guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed onJohn Crangle requesting that it bespeedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under thecriteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see theguidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the notability of the subject,
. Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit thethe article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged forspeedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles:biographies,websites,bands, orcompanies.De728631 (talk)20:52, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingFile:SenatorRYoung.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on itscopyright status and itssource. Wikipedia takescopyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to theimage use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page oncopyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing theimage description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make arequest for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here isa list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you.Eeekster (talk)01:28, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is better if your free images can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons as opposed to Wikipedia. Freely licensed or public domain media are more accessible to other Wikimedia projects if placed on Commons. Thank you:Jay8g (talk)00:57, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Concerning your contribution,File:RepBobTurner2011.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot acceptcopyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy fromhttp://www.nygop.org/page/bob-turner (predates current source, a file being hosted by the federal government doesn't make it federal government work). As a copyright violation,File:RepBobTurner2011.jpg appears to qualify fordeletion under thespeedy deletion criteria.File:RepBobTurner2011.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under theCreative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While contributions are appreciated, Wikipedia must require all contributors to understand and comply with itscopyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violatorswill beblocked from editing. Thank you.Hekerui (talk)08:46, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There were no copyright issues in the previous article. US government works are in the public domain. Thus, as long as the information is properly attributed (which I took care of with a tag), they can be copied verbatim. This isn't to say that this is the best approach, but if that was your sole reason for massively changing the article, it wasn't necessary. You may want to consider going back and incorporating some of the info you removed.Qwyrxian (talk)02:04, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to let you know that I took a look at your recently created articleKentucky State Treasurer-- However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: some of the article'sWikilinks are broken.Jipinghe (talk)01:18, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not remove sourced, relevant material withoutconsensus, as youdid atBev Perdue earlier today. Neutral statement of notable facts from reliable sources does not constitute bias in any form. If you still believe that there are problems with the article, readWP:CONSENSUS and then take it to the article's talk page.
