This is an automated message fromCorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents ofSahara (music band), and it appears to include material copied directly fromhttp://www.andreasite.eu/?page_id=1149.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

License tagging for File:Tvoje Lice Zvuči Poznato (Croatia) Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploadingFile:Tvoje Lice Zvuči Poznato (Croatia) Logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set ofimage copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag fromthis list, click onthis link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message onWikipedia:Media copyright questions. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere,Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in anedit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted{{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. Your recent editing history atEra Istrefi shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. In some cases, you may wish to request temporarypage protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you beingblocked from editing—especially if you violate thethree-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than threereverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. –Βατο (talk) 18:23, 12 January 2020 (UTC)peško prestani šiljit kitevinu na šiptarku i prebaci se na olmovicu— Precedingunsigned comment added by93.143.82.58 (talk)17:15, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require directreliable sources for additions. For details seethe content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without references are now being reverted on-sight.

Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as theburden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.

Hello, I see you added new information about the 25th anniversary. But quotes such as “ Minister Vulin stated: "And whichever Serb they buy or bring over to a celebration of extermination of Serbs and place him alongside Ante Gotovina and other Ustashas, they won't be able to change the truth about the civil war they provoked, about massacring and killing Serbian children in refugee columns."” Should there not be some follow up to the factual validity of what Vucic is claimed? Replaceable fair use File:Senidah on MAC 2019.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploadingFile:Senidah on MAC 2019.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim offair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails thefirst non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may haveno free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go tothe file description page and add the text{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. Onthe file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking onthis link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per thenon-free content policy. Hey! I've seen your edits onSergej Jakirović regarding his nationality. He has dual citizenship, Bosnian and Croatian and he will be marked as that. When it comes to flag icons, I'm gonna be putting the Bosnian flag since he is mainly reffered to as Bosnian by the media, and when he wasMaribor manager his flag icon was Bosnian and was portrayed by Slovenian media as Bosnian. He is also refferd to as Bosnian on many websites, mainlySoccerway.com andSofascore, so please keep in mind putting the Bosnian flag by his name. You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war according to the reverts you have made onRené Redzepi; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected tocollaborate with others, to avoid editingdisruptively, and totry to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article'stalk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at anappropriate noticeboard or seekdispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate torequest temporary page protection. Yugoslav footballers infobox

[edit]

Pozdrav Pjesniče, this issue has been debated several times and the outcome always favoured to write just city and country in infobox for Yugoslav cases, and write proper details like banovinas, republics and autonomous provinces in prose in the article, Some of the main reasons were the insistance of Kosovar editors in removing SR Serbia and adding Kosovo, or practical exemples like the lenght of SR Bosnia and Herzegovina,FkpCascais (talk) 18:46, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Wherever you see a republic in infobox be free to remove it, and this is how it should be displayed, exemple´FkpCascais (talk)19:01, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dua Lipa

[edit]

Hello@Pjesnik21: I hope you are well. It is a shame the disagreement we have had on theDua Lipa article. What I want to ask you is that you be a little more neutral, you are supporting to put a version of the Lipa ethnic controversy where there are conclusions like "alludes to the Illyrian theory of the origin of the Albanians" when none of the sources even mention the term "Illyrian" nor is the alleged nationality of Twitter users mentioned in any of the sources and is therefore in breach ofWP:NEUTRAL andWP:FORUM. I have reviewed your contributions and your editions are about articles related toYugoslavia and the countries that used to form it, which makes me think that you are Serbian or Croatian and coincidentally the dispute we are having is about a subject that has to do with Serbs. You have a history of edit wars on articles related to Yugoslavia and its countries, which makes me think that you act so that your point of view is reflected in Dua Lipa's article, but Wikipedia is not a forum to post our personal opinions about a topic. I will presume good faith and assume that you want to collaborate to improve this project, and therefore I ask you to to only improve the article instead of promoting biased and not very neutral information. That's why I ask you to comply with the policies of this encyclopedia or else I will have to report you. Thank you.Alexismata7 (talk)03:26, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about quick-fire revert on Michael Haneke

[edit]

Hi Pjesnik21,

I quickly revertedthis with the comment "Vandalism", which was a bit hasty, as I realized afterwards. Sorry about that – usually when just the word "Nazi" is added anywhere, it tends to be vandalism!

I see you have already reverted my revert. I still believe your edit is not ideal, and should be "German Reich" instead. But I will do a bit of research what the style rules are pertaining to that here in the en-WP.

P.S.: As the son of a Munich born Father who fought in WW2, I am painfully aware of who was in power 1942, when Haneke was born. No missed history lessons there, nor an attempt to sugar-coat anything, by preferring the official designation of the time, as is the style rule in the German WP. --Sprachraum (talk)01:52, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The content that I added atNovak Djokovic is sourced in the text.Pjesnik21 (talk)11:54, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article is about Novak Djokovic not about his mother, should we put the same category for Luka Modric and Goran Ivanisevic then?Theonewithreason (talk) 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Unlike Djokovic, there is no credible source about Modric's and Ivanisevic's origin speculations. Furthermore, if Djokovic's mother is Croatian, then Djokovicis a Serbian person of Croatian descent. That is how genetics work.Pjesnik21 (talk)11:59, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are wrong the same newspapers you are using to prove Djokovic heritage can be used for Ivanisevic and Modric, also you are forgetting that Djokovic has a father too and the article is about Novak not about them.Theonewithreason (talk) 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Yes, Novak has a father, but category "Serbian people of Serbian descent" would not make any sense, right? Djokovic confirmed his heritage himself in a2006 interview withSlobodna Dalmacija. It is also confirmed by his maternal grandfather in a2020 interview withNova S. All sources about Modric's and Ivanisevic's origin are Serbian tabloids, which are both biased and untrustworthy.Pjesnik21 (talk)12:27, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Slobodna Dalmacija is a tabloid too and the fact that you are using Croatian newspaper as a source shows that you are not acting by the standards of english wikipedia, generally any newspaper articles are notWP:RSTheonewithreason (talk) 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Slobodna Dalmacija is not a tabloid. Plus, unlike Serbian tabloids that do not cite their sources and just pull stuff out of their ass, thisSlobodna Dalmacija article is aninterview with Novak himself, meaning he is saying that himself. Also, here is avideo of Dijana Đoković saying that she is a Croat when she was a guest atBalkanskom ulicom.Pjesnik21 (talk)13:33, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Slobodna Dalmacija are probably the worst tabloid in Region. Most of Croatian newspapers are. Everybody remembers their unsourced accusation after EURO 2012 and the game against Czechia The fact that Djokovic himself never repeated that on any other newspaper goes in that argument, not to mentionWP:AGEMATTERS and the fact that Dijana does not say that what you are implying, she is talking about confusion between Hrvatica and pevacica. But it seems that dont understand what I am saying, this is not an article about Dijana Djokovic, it is about Novak. Also since you are so eager to defend the fact that Croatian newspapers are "righteous" but Serbians are not it goes againstWP:NEUTRALITY, I am not going to further discuss with you about that since those are already clear and standardised rules of Wikipedia, meaning that newspaper articles are not reliable source being Serbian or Croatian, that there are already discussed consensus about every source and also onWP:RSN everything is clear, so please try to cooperate with other editors, go through archives on talk page see what was discussed.Theonewithreason (talk) 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Slobodna Dalmacija are not a tabloid at all, let alone the worst one. But that is irrelevant at this point. Dijana says that her husband's relatives misunderstood that she said she is a singer (pevačica), when in reality she said she is a Croat (Hrvatica). No discussion is needed, one of Novak's ancestors is Croatian, therefore he is a person of Croatian descent.Pjesnik21 (talk)15:35, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The other one is Serbian so therefore he is of Serbian descent, but I didnt wanted to discuss about that. Anyways my suggestion is that you use more reliable sources in the future other than Croatian tabloids, we already found them and discussed them [10 editors, years of discussion] feel free to check, but since this discussion is going nowhere, I wish you well and good health. Cheers.Theonewithreason (talk) 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Your recent editing history atRita Ora shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use thetalk page to work toward making a version that representsconsensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. Seethe bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevantnoticeboard or seekdispute resolution. Information icon Hi, and thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, intoChlöe. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits thepage history, which islegally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to bemoved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account isfour days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the"Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may behidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates aredirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions atrequested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them atWikipedia:Requests for history merge. A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
I am a great admirer of your work regarding Croatian football. Your work has inspired me to create Croatian Wikipedia pages for all missing Dinamo Zagreb players. Recently, I have even started updating player stats on a weekly basis, just like you. I have translated dozens of English Wikipedia articles which you have edited and expanded them to the point where they are bigger than their English language counterparts (e.g.hr:Dani Olmo, e.g.hr:Lovro Majer). Currently I am in the process of expandinghr:Mislav Oršić. I'd also like to invite you back to hr.wiki (Croatian Wikipedia). Hr.wiki isn't as bad as it was previously. All the bad POV admins have either been banned or have left the project (e.g. Kubura, SpeedyGonsales). If you wish not to return, we could at least cooperate in cross-language creation and expansion of articles. Cheers!Croxyz (talk)19:59, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Career statistics MOS

[edit]

Hi Pjesnik21, I appreciate your edits on Croatian footballers includingMarcelo Brozović,Šime Vrsaljko,Ivan Perišić,Mario Pašalić, and more. Could you please follow the WFP MOS guidelines for editing the stats table though? Divisions are really not supposed to be rowspanned at all as it looks better on mobile devices, plus the consensus is to not rowspan across different clubs at all. BafflingWP:OVERLINKING

[edit]

You unlink pop music but then thinkall these other words should be linked...you need to readWP:OVERLINK. Please try to avoid linking in quotes, especially this many to very common terms in a musical context (beat, chorus, crescendo...really?). Thank you.Ss11212:01, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are still doing this. Please readMOS:LINKSTYLE: "be conservative when linking within quotations", andstop linking common terms like electric guitar and guitar solo, especially within quotes. "Same-sex" is pretty self-explanatory, and everything involving just one sex does not equate to homosexuality, so that could be interpreted as anWP:EASTEREGG link. If you continue doing this I will raise it with an admin because you clearly are not listening to me.Ss11216:54, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

May 2022: Don't edit war when you are reverted.WP:BRD applies

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history atSo Sad So Sexy shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree.

Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Ss11214:00, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Billboard World Charts

[edit]

On the one hand, you are partially correct,Billboard 'Hits of the World' charts track both streaming and downloads.WP:RECORDCHARTS says to use charts that are recognised in their country as a measure of popularity and success. These charts are in their infancy and there's no evidence that they are widely accepted in the countries they are published for. The HDU chart is the long established chart for Croatia and is widely accepted as a measure of a song's success. Therefore it becomesWP:INDISCRIMINATE to include multiple charts for the sake of it. You need consensus to include it. PerWP:BRD, you werebold, you werereverted (which means there's no census), the responsibility is now on you todiscuss and get a consensus.>>Lil-unique1(talk)12:55, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

July 2022

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war according to the reverts you have made onNight Time, My Time. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected tocollaborate with others, to avoid editingdisruptively, and totry to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;

If you engage in an edit war, youmay beblocked from editing. -FlightTime(open channel)21:34, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Last warning forWP:OVERLINKING

[edit]

Much more ofthis and I'm reporting you to an administrator. As I have told and linked you to before, Wikipedia's guidelines state "be conservative when linking within quotations" perMOS:LINKSTYLE, and you apparentlystill cannot stop yourself from adding links to basically every term in quotes. Enough is enough. Next time I see ridiculous edits likethis you're being reported.Ss11207:05, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Sergecross73: Serge, I'm following through on my assurance to this uncommunicative editor that I would report their rampant overlinking to an admin. Seehere for today's ridiculous example of Pjesnik21's style of overlinking to very common terms. I have left this user messages and asked them to stop overlinking and be conservative about what they link inside of quotes perMOS:LINKSTYLE since this time last year:#MOS:OVERLINK. See also the section#Baffling WP:OVERLINKING. I don't think this user is going to stop.TheAmazingPeanuts has also asked them to stop overlinking and as you can see, they've been warned by a variety of editors for adding unsourced material, edit warring and other disruption. Blocked

[edit]

I don't usually like to block editors for things as minor as overlinking, but your talk page really is concerning. You've received so many unanswered/unaddressed warnings for overlinking, edit warring, unsourced additions, etc. it's unacceptable. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. You can't just be ignoring these concerns and do whatever you want.

Your block expires in1 week when you return, I hope you'll start workingwith other editors, not just ignoring them all the time.Sergecross73msg me14:07, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Sergecross73: This user's insufferable overlinking continues unabated:[2] and[3] and God knows how many other recent examples. I don't know why Pjesnik21's main purpose on Wikipedia is to visit articles and work out how many different other articles they can link to, but I have asked them multiple times to stop with thesea of blue and to bear in mindMOS:LINKSTYLE about being conservative with linking inside of quotes and they haven't. Seems like they have no interest in taking your advice to work with editors or take on board what they say.Ss11206:34, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Pjesnik21, is there something I'm missing here? Is there something you don't understand? You're violating OVERLINK far more frequently than would be explained by a simple mistake or oversight, especially after being blocked for it. Again, I hate blocking people for a relatively minor thing like this, but if you're frequently causing a burden on other editors by mistakes you've been warned about, you're going to get your account blocked again.Sergecross73msg me16:18, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning. Any more badWP:OVERLINK violations and I'm blocking your account. I may very well block it indefinitely, at the very least until you decide to acknowledge and participate in this discussion. @Sergecross73: This user still hasn't responded to any concerns by me or Muhandes (who started a thread below) and has continued on without interruption introducing ridiculous overlinkinglike this today (Who doesn't know what rock and roll is, or what "spoken word" means?) and disregarding of being conservative with linking inside quotes. I'm really tired of Pjesnik21 refusing to say anything to any other editor and continuing to do this while remaining silent all over the encyclopedia. I've also just found Pjesnik21 being reverted for adding a category, then adding the category back four minutes later without any explanationhere by a different editor.Ss11206:52, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

For months now, editors have been asking you to communicate about edits you're making. You've refused. People have made simple requests, like stop overlinking articles. You've refused. As I've said, Wikipedia is a collaborative project. Refusing to discuss contentious edits is not an option.

  1. Agree to discuss issues with others
  2. ReadWP:OVERLINK and explain it to me in your own words.

If you do this, your account will be unblocked immediately. If you don't, your account will remain blocked. (And any future accounts you create will be blocked on-sight.)
