Thanks for taking the time to copyedit the article. However I might think about reinstating some of those links in the near future. Some of the links you removed I put there as to actually suggest that an articleshould exist. For example: "The Sacred Festival of Music" and the director "Brian Jun" probably should have their own articles. Actually thanks for deleting the red links; it gave me the imperative to do something about it. So now we actually haveBrian Jun. I think more things could be linked from the "Guest appearances and collaborations" but i'll deal with them in time. I've made a number of article from red links, I imagine that only about two people see them though. The guy who sees it appear on the new articles list and me! The date syntax is: {{Fact|any other arguments|date=August 2008}}, but if you leave the date off it will be added by aWP:BOT.RichFarmbrough, 13:1114 August2008 (GMT).

I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim offair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails ourfirst non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. I don't think that an article about the junior section of this prestigious institution is needed (the Junior department could be a section of the main article). The article is promotional and close to a viewbook/prospectus.

Kudpung routinely tags primary school articles for non-notability. In the case of Skippers 'ill I'd say the article is a bit on the thinnish side and indeed most of the refs come from the school's own materials. Thanks, I will. I have contacted the headmaster for a list of other notable Alumni to go up on their website. I remember it being quite long and 'impressive' from when I was a pupil there. I just need somewhere to reference it all from. The only sample in the section I deleted was a long-deleted file. As I say, you tend not to reference, but I think you're going to address that not. Also, on theTalk Page of the article, you should use the template {{WPBiography}}

A large way in which you can help to expand wikipedia is to expand your articles. They don't really give any detail at all about these players. Are they dead/alive? When were they born? Home town? Where did they go to school? Do they have any brothers/sisters? That kind of information. I am at Wit's end. The user who you gave a final warning to continues to vandalize, alter, and blank the comments of other editors at the AfD.[1]. What the heck are we supposed to do? I seen this on AYW's talk page and looked into the situation. I warned the user with another Warn4IM warning for good measure and then took them to AIV. I am waiting to see what their response is. Clearly this user is vandalizing the AfD page and we probably looking at someone who just doesn't get it. You can see from how she writes on the talk page (no indenting, separate lines) that she is not too familiar with talk page format etc, English is clearly not her first language. I don’t doubt that she is not too familiar with editing and so could make mistakes such as editing an old version (such as today) without realising. -dwc lr (talk)18:41, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

DWC LR, you really should know better than to try the "me no speaka gut Englandish" defense on behalf of Dilek. I did some digging, which wasn't tough, and found a pretty good pattern of this user removing parts of articles he clearly doesn't like:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. Then there are other examples of him removing edits to talk pages:1,2. Then there is theonepersonal attack I found. I only dug to March 27, but there are probably more. I know what you mean. I'm pretty sure "they" are a She. But even so, there is a clear issue here. I have offered help very kindly on hertalk page, offering advice in answer of any questions. She thanked me but has not been forthcoming.

From that I believe we can assume that she is aware of how to read her talk page, and is thus consciously ignoring requests, warnings and advice. I believe the only way forwards from here is a block of perhaps a few days, to solidify the point we are trying to make, and perhaps give her the chance to consider the repercussions and consequences of her actions, before being allowed to continue editing. My feeling is that they don't qualify for CSD-A7 as they contain a credibleassertion of notability (that they were president of a University). I've left a note on the contributor's talk page explaining that the pages don'tdemonstrate notability and have directed him toWP:ACADEMIC. I'm not completely sure what is expected, I think that's an improvement, but probably good to also update the "Author=" field, don't know how it got set to "Anons" but your own userid is probably what it should be. Seehttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clapsticks.JPG for example.

I might start on the WikiProject by doing something aboutWikipedia:WikiProject Percussion/Collaboration of the Month which is a bit embarrassing. Probably best not to have one until we get a bit more interest is my feeling.

Your interest, even granted your time contraints, is important. If there's only one active member, it's not an active WikiProject regardless of how active they may be. If there are two of us, even doing one edit a month each, it's at least a possibility. And hopefully we'll get interest from others, either signed up or not. There's a lot of interest in percussion articles.
