Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at thewelcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about somethingnotable, that is, of general interest. Click onNotability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independentlyverifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

Thanks for taking the time to copyedit the article. However I might think about reinstating some of those links in the near future. Some of the links you removed I put there as to actually suggest that an articleshould exist. For example: "The Sacred Festival of Music" and the director "Brian Jun" probably should have their own articles. You were bang on with removing the "Barrister's" and "Nighttown" links though cos in hindsight they're not really notable enough. Thanks.Sillyfolkboy (talk)01:02, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The date syntax is: {{Fact|any other arguments|date=August 2008}}, but if you leave the date off it will be added by aWP:BOT.RichFarmbrough, 13:1114 August2008 (GMT).
Heh, yeah. I revert quite a bit of vandalism, so I had to do something so that vandals couldn't sneakily vandalize me. The code you need is in an HTML comment in this message, so you can just copy/paste to wherever you want it. Enjoy!J.delanoygabsadds21:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would greatly appreciate it if you could get involved with the discussionhere; there is some concern over the authenticity of a photo you have uploaded. Many thanks,Happy‑melon17:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Philip. Thanks for the appreciation for my work on T the C. I am very committed to it, having originally been interested in the musical side. I imagine you have more of an army background and I have developed some interest - and even a bit of knowledge - in that too. But thanks for your note. It is nice to get the odd bouquet.FClef (talk)01:30, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingImage:Sorrenti.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim offair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails ourfirst non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}},without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking onthis link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per ournon-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you.Skier Dude (talk)06:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The articleJunior Department of the Royal College of Music has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing{{dated prod}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. Thespeedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andarticles for deletion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion.Karljoos (talk)16:34, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Philip.t.day! I welcome a lot of new school page authors to Wikipedia, and I would like to thank you foryour contribution. Unfortunately, the page you created, atSkippers Hill Manor Preparatory School, didn't quite work out according to theschool page guidelines, and may soon bedeleted or merged and redirected to the Wikipedia article about its locality.
When you've made the fixes, you can take your time for the rest, so you'll want to read up onYour First Article and check out:
If you are stuck, you can ask a question on theschool project talk page or you can even ask me on my talk page. I hope you'll stay around and even help out on some other school project tasks. Happy editing ! Kudpung (talk)04:27, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You'll notice :this. I still didn't think it quite met notability criteria, and someone else may come along and redirect it, but I had tried, as I almost always do. You have good contribs, and you can always ask me for advice. Keep up the good work! --Kudpung (talk)06:14, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The only sample in the section I deleted was a long-deleted file. I didn't see the point in leading a null section, and I wasn't sureBurleske, the only free recording with prominent timpani that I knew off-hand, used the timpani for enough of its length.Adam Cuerden(talk)10:32, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I do not know what I should do according to you, I do not think of bothering star by creating the articles that I am creating. Please, tell me what you think I should doAlexxander3000 (talk)15:41, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, one last thing .. What are my most frequent errors? I really want to help wikipedia to expand, but as you noticed the items I am creating have a lot of information on the web, then, what can I do to improve my style?Thank you and excuse the inconvenienceAlexxander3000 (talk)18:01, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Again me!... This article :Mario Alborta is ok? I have following your advice, and in fact it took me an hour to create this article ... Then, there are mistakes? ThanksAlexxander3000 (talk)22:40, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am at Wit's end. The user who you gave a final warning to continues to vandalize, alter, and blank the comments of other editors at the AfD.[1]. What the heck are we supposed to do? Spend the rest of our lives reverting, or instead let the user do whatever the user wants?Anythingyouwant (talk)16:56, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did some digging, which wasn't tough, and found a pretty good pattern of this user removing parts of articles he clearly doesn't like:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. Then there are other examples of him removing edits to talk pages:1,2. Then there is theonepersonal attack I found. I only dug to March 27, but there are probably more. This is a pattern of vandalism and disruptive editing. His talk page edits show that clearly. -Neutralhomer •Talk •18:51, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Philip.t.day. After reviewing your request for rollback, I haveenabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, seeWikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on mytalk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing!SalvioLet's talk about it!21:35, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My feeling is that they don't qualify for CSD-A7 as they contain a credibleassertion of notability (that they were president of a University). I've left a note on the contributor's talk page explaining that the pages don'tdemonstrate notability and have directed him toWP:ACADEMIC. I suspect the best option is to go for AFD, listing them all together in one discussion. CheersCatfish Jim & the soapdish10:09, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your reply atTalk:Timpani.
Are you interested in restartingWikipedia:WikiProject Percussion? It seems to have lapsed, which is a shame IMO. I've been thinking of contacting each of the other members. I'm starting with you as you are obviously still active in the subject area, and I ran across your activity in another context recently too, see below.
I likeUser:Philip.t.day/Notspecial. You might likeUser:Andrewa/creed.
Finally, would you consider adding some source information tohttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Percussion_Beaters.jpg ? It's an excellent image, and adding source information would encourage its use.Andrewa (talk)00:18, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Philip.t.day. Followinga request for comment in May 2025, the community has decided to implement an activity requirement for theautopatrolled permission. Because your account has not edited in the last three years, the autopatrolled permission has been removed from your account. This action is purely procedural and does not affect your ability to create articles; if you return to actively creating articles, you may request that the permission be restored throughthe normal process. When returning, please consider taking some time to re-familiarize yourself with common practices and how they may have changed over the past few years if you wish to request the permission back. Thank you for all of your contributions to Wikipedia, and we hope to see you again soon.MediaWiki message delivery (talk)06:19, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
