Disambiguation link notification for October 1

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you editedJürgen Locadia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pagesEmmen andWillem II (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles.Read theFAQ • Join us at theDPL WikiProject.

Miiko Albornoz

[edit]

Hi! Please readWikipedia:Identifying reliable sources andWikipedia:Neutral point of view before you make edits such as the one you were making at Miiko Albornoz. A minor news site with extremist views is not a reliable source. Since this is such a sensitive and highly controversial matter I believe it's common sense that we should wait until his name is confirmed by reliable sources such as DN, SDS, Sydsvenskan and so on. Statements such as this needs more than one source, especially if that source is like the one you used. Also when we do have those sources I would refrain from using the exact words that you did; 1. The player is only a suspect, he is not gulity until proven so in court. 2. The crime classification is not "våldtäkt mot barn" but "sexuellt utnyttjande av barn" as is mentioned in several reliable sources. I would also ask of you to please refrain from offensive language when discussing with me. Let's just wait this out until we have more to go on. Thanks! --Reckless182 (talk)10:12, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to thePedophilia article

[edit]

To put it simply, your edits to that article are messes. This bit that I reverted andthis bit that I reverted are both messes. And, despitethis revert by you, none of that mess will be in the Pedophilia article. None of it. Sexual attraction to a 15-year-old is not even pedophilia, which you would know if you had actually read and grasped the lead of the article. Oh, andyour humor does not belong in that article in the least.Flyer22 (talk)02:10, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sourcing and edit-warring

[edit]

Hi there, regarding your recent edits: You needreliable sources to support your assertions in the article. Wikis like Wiktionary are not reliable sources. Please do not repeatedly revert to restore your poorly-sourced or unsourced material. If you keep doing it, it is callededit warring and you may be blocked for it.Zad6819:45, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote a source. How reliable does it have to be?ParkinsonProject (talk)19:49, 15 January 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]
Have you looked atWP:RS? Pedophilia is a well-studied field, you should be looking for up-to-date psychological publications such as review articles in peer-reviewed journals and university-level textbooks.Zad6819:50, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, also seeWikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine) (WP:MEDRS). And remember to sign your username at the end of the comments you make on Wikipedia talk pages. All you have to do to sign your username is simply type fourtildes (~), like this:~~~~. I signed your username for you above.Flyer22 (talk)22:49, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vladimir Sarenpya

[edit]

Hi, last year you created an article onVladimir Sarenpya. A year later it still contains no supporting references.

It would be wonderful if you could address this problem. I am unable to find anything significant in the English language about him, but have put a template on the page to suggest that someone might like to help by translating theRussian article about him. Proposed deletion ofMartin Lund Pedersen

The articleMartin Lund Pedersen has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Ways to improve Hafnia (food company)

[edit]

Hi, I'm Sam Sailor. ParkinsonProject, thanks for creatingHafnia (food company)!

I've just tagged the page, using ourpage curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hafnia Konserves was bought by Jyske Andelsslagteriers Konservesfabrik i 1971. I doubt we can find sources to make this passWP:NCORP.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment onmy talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers atthe Teahouse.

Speedy deletion nomination ofHafnia (food company)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to readthe guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using theArticle Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed onHafnia (food company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does notcredibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under thecriteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more aboutwhat is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line withWikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact thedeleting administrator.Szzuk (talk)18:45, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello ParkinsonProject,

I wanted to let you know that I just taggedSkandiamannen for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you cancontest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note onmy talk page if you have questions.

AboutArktisk Stadion

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to giveArktisk Stadion a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits thepage history, which islegally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to bemoved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account isfour days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the"Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may behidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates aredirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions atrequested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them atWikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.PRehse (talk)08:06, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
