Hi Noahfgodard! Thank you for your copyediting work! I just wanted to mention that we should uselogical quotations in all articles on the English Wikipedia. This means that punctuation gets put inside quotation marks only if that's how they appear in the quoted text. You can read more about that guideline (plus some examples) atMOS:LQ. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Cheers!Woodroar (talk)11:55, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
Hi there - you movedAndrew Norman (snooker) toAndrew Norman as a primary topic in favour ofAndrew Norman (snooker) but you haven't fixed the 150+ incoming links for the snooker player. Please can you fix these? Otherwise, I will revert the move as the bad links are to a greater detriment to readers than having the composer article without a disambiguation handle. ThanksSFB16:12, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

HelloIm sorry, but I really dont understand what is the problem with "Vetusta Morla" draft. Ive added all the links from original spanish Wiki, which was written by the band themselves. I mean, I just translated the article from verified spanish Wiki article, but you're writing, that its not suitable. How could it be suitable for spanish, but but not good for english, being on the same site?...Im very disappointed about this situation, really, cause I adore of this band and want to help them by this article. Ive already added it to russian and ukrainian Wiki and I have no idea, what could I do about english version to make you post it.

Hi there! Thanks for reviewingDraft:Tamayo Kawamoto. I was just wondering if you could give more explanation/guidance on the problem that you saw with reliability in the sources?
I'm fine if I have to cut out some of the information and resubmit, but I'm not sure which sources you saw that were unreliable, so I'm not sure what should be cut. (I'm also not sure if you saw my AfC comment at the top of the article explaining the interviews andself-sourced info/refs). Thanks in advance for your help :) Best, -Whisperjanes (talk)19:16, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

@Noahfgodard,My page onJackie Jocko was recently approved for publication, but it has the notation "article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies." I think this designation is inappropriate, as there are several independent newspapers cited to support the information and directly speak to Jackie's notoriety. Can you comment on this? I could use your advice on how to move forward. I'm an archivist for the Jackie Jocko Collection at SUNY Buffalo State College and am happy to spend time editing as necessary to make it appropriate. Hi, thanks for helping out with reviews at DYK. FYI, a "hook" is just that—a way to "reel in" readers to click on the article. If a hook explains everything about the subject, it doesn't give the reader a reason to click on it. ALT0 is a great hook, so that's what I promoted. Best,Yoninah (talk)10:29, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
Why do you declinedDraft:Salin Supaya? you commented " that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject", are you stupid ? She was a highest-level "Tabindaing" princess of the Konbaung dynasty. She was a historic figure and set-chief queen of the next king, born in 1847. There were no cameras or media at that time, How can we get information on media report? Do note, chief queen is the highest consort of the King, not a wife of adog!!! Chief queen consort is very powerful in country. This subject is beyond theWP:NPOL. The History of Burmese royal family can only be found in books not media articles!!!! According to Wikipedia source guideline, Wikipedia allows to use the books as references. This is an old history, and it can only be found in history books. Many of the historic articles on the wiki using books as references not news coverage. Well, what would you say to these articles,Meiktila Princess,Taingda Princess ? Some historic articles do not even fill refrences!!! Why so serious? Tell us honestly, do you hate Burma because of theRohingya genocide?.117.18.229.211 (talk)19:47, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
Thanks again Noahfgodard! I really appreciate your time helping me. Now I see what you mean about sources, reliability and non-Williams sources. That all makes sense. I have not only made those corrections and found additional (non-Williams) sources -- but I also found out that this guy does work in virtual reality too. I thought he only did screenwriting and documentary! This was really cool to learn. Would you have time to look it over one more time (and hopefully approved it if I did it correctly??) I know you're probably super-busy, so no worries if you cant. Thanks again!Tom Creen (talk)22:00, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
@Noahfgodard One again, this is really helpful. Thanks again for your time. I am still trying to understand what is and what is not "permitted". It seems like I should really slim down the article. The books themselves are reliable and establish notability, correct? That's the reason why I wanted to create this page in the first place: he has professional publications in my field (screenwriting) that contain unique (and I think important) material. Maybe the rest is not notable? I was trying to fill out the article with details about his life, but maybe that's not necessary. If you have the time, could you give it one more read? I'd really appreciate it. If not, I completely understand -- I can see that you are super busy. Thanks for being so helpful to all these different people. You have a lot of patience.

Noahfgodard, thanks for reviewing the "Eric R. Williams page". Could you please clarify your comment so that I can correct this issue? You wrote: "The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you."
My question is: Were the sources incorrect/poor, or was I using footnotes incorrectly? I've read the instructions on footnotes, and I thought I was doing it correctly. If you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello Noah.So disappointed that my draft has been deleted so fast without any possibility for me to improve. I am author of books on games, chess variants, their history, especially in French but also in English (A World Of Chess, McFarland 2017).I am also an inventor of games. Among them, Shako invented 30 years ago, cited in several books, and developed on several platforms like Jocly and several website on-line. Finally I am also the owner and sole contributor of history.chess.free.fr a website often consulted and cited for history of chess and relative variants.I wanted to create a page to present that game as other chess variants are also presented. In this page, I explained that I may have a COI, not hiding it, and I asked for a help from a neutral personI used parts of the text I myself wrote on my website. For that my draft was proposed for "immediate deletion" by someone. Why being so harsh? I thought I had few hours to explain that it is not a copyright infringement.I corrected anyway, proposing another writing of my own words.Less than 24h after I see that my draft is finally deleted for both COI and copyright.I have the feeling to face a wall of non understanding. I would have understood that my draft is hold, waiting for improvement and waiving the problems, but deleting like this without any possible discussion is just very unfair. Can you help me or is that definitely dead?Thank you.Cazaux (talk)20:40, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
