Hi Nina,The blog seems like its probably not very reliable. I base this solely on the indicia of bad grammar, bad writing and vitriolic tone. On the other hand, the writer of the blog purports to be a faculty member I think. I went to hUnter HS, but the only things I know about Raab are from published sources, not personal experience. I do give weight to the opinion of those who are more involved in a topic than I. It does seem like bad editing to remove the official Hunter bio and include this blog, so generally I would support the reversing of those things.

Renewed apologies for inactivity. I have now commented atWP:BLPN#Leslie Cornfeld. I am hoping that someone experienced will expand the article a bit, based on your references. Reports of Ms Cornfeld speaking or being involved in some activity help with theWP:Verifiability requirement to document her career, but not withWP:Notability which looks for extended commentabout her by someone else. If someone else expands the article, I may find it convincing enough to reverse my decision as closing administrator ofWP:Articles for deletion/Leslie Cornfeld, but more likely I would seek the community's view by listing it atWP:Deletion review which is the place where deletions are reviewed and sometimes undone. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you editedPeter Gelb, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation pagePeabody (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles.Read theFAQ • Join us at theDPL WikiProject.

This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion atWikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possibleconflict of interest incident in which you may be involved. Thank you.Omaharodeo (talk)00:34, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. It appears that you have beencanvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. Whilefriendly notices are allowed, they should belimited andnonpartisan in distribution and should reflect aneutral point of view. Please do not post notices which areindiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certainpoint of view or side of a debate, or which areselectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle ofconsensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. --Omaharodeo (talk)14:22, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed onFile:James A. Kowalski.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use ofnon-free content.[1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of thepermitted conditions then:
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line withWikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a requesthere.Magog the Ogre (t •c)15:04, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
| Hi Nina, I'm sorry to say that I have closed your case at DRN because Omaharodeo does not edit regularly and we have no idea when they will be on WP again. Meantime, I've looked at the talk page of the article in question and I've left a few notes asking Omahrodeo to stop harrassing you about your self proclaimed COI. If Omahrodeo comes back and is giving further problems let me know. Furthermore if you'd like to work on the article together I'm happy to do that also. Let me know. Best, —Keithbob •Talk •16:50, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply] |
Could you explain how someone can sell (let alone inhabit) the 89th and 90th floors of a 75-story building? Does the 17th floor come right after the lobby in the case of One57, perhaps for psychological/marketing reasons (so no one has to live on the 13th or a low-numbered floor)? Perhaps you could edit the Wikipedia article about One57 to explain that apparent discrepancy. Thanks. -Embram (talk)14:13, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
| The Barnstar of Diplomacy | |
| In recognition of your patience and diplomacy............. Being an all volunteer project WP has limited resources and declining editor participation. There are literally tens of thousands of maintenance and improvement tasks that remain undone many months (sometimes years) after they've been brought to the attention of the WP community. One of these areas is WPs response to companies and organizations who are requesting upgrades and changes to their articles. It can unfortunately take months for requests and queries to be addressed. In your case you were also the victim of a widespread community bias against editors who self proclaim a conflict of interest and ask for assistance. My point is that through all of it you persevered in a responsible, dignified and respectful manner and I commend you deeply for it. I look forward to working together on the project. Best, —Keithbob •Talk •16:51, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply] |
