Hi mwwv, I am working on gathering all the citations for the content of the article I am writing about the company I work for. I have divulged that I am working for the company and that I am a paid employee. I want to make sure that the article I am writing is well cited with notable references.
For example, the company that I am writing about did multiple projects with the government through the SBIR program documented here:https://www.sbir.gov/portfolio/248176
The company holds at least 15 patents on their technologies that can be cited and holds multiple security and technology quality and standards certifications from Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) like UL, FM Approvals, Intertek for the U.S., and through international bodies like IECEx and European ones like ATEX for global markets.
The founder of the company co-wrote multiple papers for journals like Nature and IEEE Systems Journal that I can also cite when talking about the company technology that was founded on many of those papers.
Also, Ray Stata, former CEO of Analog Devices, sits on our board of directors and was an initial investor in the company and there is a Wikipedia article about his career (to which I am hoping I can suggest that his investment and board seat to our company can be added).
Please let me know if this content is appropriate for the article. Thanks!SaraHillman (talk)18:06, 5 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mwwv, thank you for the welcome. I received a message from a bot saying I made an error in a reference. I can see the problem, but I'm not sure what I did wrong. Could you help me figure it out? --Quoting Querying Questioner (talk)06:33, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I recently tried to put a rather large edit on the Alan Becker filmography page because it looked unprofessional (grammar mistakes and several inconsistencies) but it got caught by some filters. I tried to submit it multiple times because I thought it might have been an error but it still wouldn't go through (in hindsight a rather silly idea). Is there a way that I can avoid triggering these sorts of filters in the future? Like should I have done it in pieces rather than all at once, or is that deceptive?
Also, the mod that was trying to help me said they ran into an editing conflict when trying to publish it. Would that be due to the newness of my account, because I submitted the edit multiple times, or something else?
Thanks! --Randomtheguy (talk)06:31, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Mwwv, and thanks for continuing to welcome your mentees. The latest update to template{{Welcome mentee}} adds support for new users who are Wiki Ed students enrolled in a university course that partners with the Wiki Education program. These students edit Wikipedia as part of their regular coursework, monitored both by their instructor and by Wiki Ed staff. When you welcome a mentee who is also a Wiki Ed student, you may notice a new paragraph in the welcome message—examplehere, and dochere. No new parameter or usage change is required on your part; this operates fully automatically. It appears to be working fine, but be aware of the possibility of issues or bugs, and please report any problems on the Template talk page. Thanks!Mathglot (talk)02:42, 23 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am wondering if you could help me with creating a wiki page for the HOI4 mod, "The Fire Rises".
I have a major problem with citing good sources, as well as imputing images and I was wondering if you could help me with that.
If you want, I can send you the draft I have of the article, as well as some sources, both reliable and somewhat-reliable, to any messaging account you have. If you want to help, of course.
Thank you for your time,
-TFL1973

Welcome to Phase 2 of theJanuary–February 2026 NPP drive. DuringPhase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!

Hi, I've placed an amendment on the site for Wishful thinking the group regarding the song Hiroshima which was written by my father Mr Norman Briggs not David Morgan. My father wrote it for Mr Brian Allender at Sutton Place in Surrey. --Adybriggs (talk)23:25, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
News and updates for administrators from the past month (January 2026).
howdy, I found some misleading (but trivial) statistical information on an article I looked up and curious what the right way to resolve it would be.
The article is for the film They Came Together,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Came_Together
The "summary" sidepanel thing claims a pathetically low box office of $82,780, citinghttps://m.the-numbers.com/movie/They-Came-Together, which actually has no domestic box office information for the movie. I did some lazy googling and couldn't find any source for domestic box office that wasn't just wrongly re-citing this.
I think it should be corrected but not sure what the right way to do that would be and dont want to just sign up for wikipedia and start deleting things from pages.
Something I thought of after writing that: is there a programmatic way I can list which films use the same website as a citation for their box office numbers? I would assume a lot of other films are going to have a similar problem.
Thanks for your help. --Scl52 (talk)18:22, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
