Thetask force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities is happy to announce that there are now (at least) stub articles for all municipalities of Germany. Now the task force is looking for help in fleshing these out a little bit. The current phase of activity for the task force is to copy in infoboxes from the articles in German Wikipedia. If you want to help, even just for a few articles, look at the instructions and linkshere
There are now way over26.000 articles tagged as part of our Wikiproject and many still need either an importance or a quality assessment. Also there are many more out there that do need to be tagged like approx 8000 municipalities. If you would like to help take a browse throughArticles needing Importance assessment orArticles needing a basic quality assessment. | |

Looking at the edits thata user recently made tothe article on suicide, I think they were clearly made in good faith. Hello Mdebets! Thank you for your contributions. I am abot alerting you that1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Thebiographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insureverifiability, all biographies should be based onreliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current55 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the{{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi, atWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk)13:41, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. TheWikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/IrelandWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much likeWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country likeWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk)21:08, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize and around $340 (£250) worth of prizes for Architecture articles, both global and for the UK and Ireland. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦Dr. Blofeld10:24, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
