Hello. I only just noticed that 6 months ago you redirected the content atSimon Tisdall to the newspaper he works for (though he may have retired now, I believe he is 'just' a commentator rather than an editor). The article just before you redirected it (with the tags you added) ishere. I agree with you that the article relied too much onThe Guardian for its sourcing, but it feels wrong that Tisdall's article has been redirected compared to many of the other articles inCategory:The Guardian journalists (over 400 of them). I have looked for independent sourcing and it is difficult to find as most search hits bring up his extensive portfolio of opinion pieces. I do not have the time to work on this further, but suspect that those who might have time to work on this are not aware that the article has been redirected (seeing a blue link, many people will assume the article is still there). Could I suggest that the article is restored to its tagged version so people can attempt to fix it, and that in lieu of me having the time to work on it that it be flagged at a suitable content noticeboard for attention? IMO, Tisdall is a prominent enough commentator that people will turn to Wikipedia to find out more about him. More widely, there may be a more systematic problem with Wikipedia articles on news journalists relying overly heavily on profiles from the organisations they have worked for. But in cases where someone has spent pretty much their entire career at the same newspaper, this may be an unavoidable issue. Can you think of a way to handle this that will get more eyes on this? I fear the redirect has obscured this, rather than solved it. Restoring the tagged version of the article would at least mean someone might work on this.Carcharoth (talk) 09:50, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Adding that I left a comment on the unredirected talk pagehere. Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to remind you that when you draftify an article (e.g.,Draft:2025 hunger crisis in Afghanistan), you should inform the article creator (and major contributing editors) about the draftification (perWP:DRAFTIFY). Failing to inform an editor that their work has been draftified can be verybitey and discourage new editors. If you typically notify through a script, you may want to double-check your work, especially regarding G15s. If you use a script other thanMPGuy2824's MoveToDraft, I highly recommend switching as it is the most up-to-date. If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns regarding this matter, please let me know. Take care,Significa liberdade(she/her) (talk)18:47, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An anon claimed in the edit logs for theTyler Cowen page athttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tyler_Cowen&diff=prev&oldid=1315206884 that the A.V. Club article was not a permissible source; as far as I can tell, the anon seemingly judged it solely by the article's title ("Can tech make an "AI actress" so fake that male columnists won't nut while writing about it?"). Despite the title being generally correct, I was unsure if that anon knew something that I didn't. If you think the source (https://www.avclub.com/ai-actress-tilly-norwood-columnists-drooling) is valid for the Tilly Norwood page, I could've reinstated that source on short notice.Dandelion Sprout (talk)16:28, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The articleBlythe Pepino has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
seems barely notable. Only hit singles did not meet the top 40, which just leaves some activism.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. Thank you for consideration of no personal medical condition on the main page. Having looked closer: I have my (known) problems with that (type of) hook, sayingnothing about the person in question than that she sings and is from Indonesia. I haven't looked closer at the nom and the authors, and don't want to nag all the time, - just like to see more interesting things really about the subject. Many were born prematurely and still did something great, butwhat did she do? Sing. I quote "the only real nation is humanity" on my user page. - CompareElsa Reger, a 2016 hook, which was sort of easy because she wrote an autobiography with a title that said it all ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk)06:52, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
