Draft:I practically almost gave up on doing a biography draft

[edit]

Previously like two years ago it just never went through and I vanished from putting something together. Looked at formats, style, tones of related bios. I'm trying again, been cleaning up over and over. I need to get it right this time as things will become a pileup as time passes. Extended pages are now on a back burner because everything must link together, from one event, venue(s), person(s) etc... I'm gonna need help with this one.— Precedingunsigned comment added byAfroArabianEmpire (talkcontribs)20:52, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:List of best-selling Nintendo Switch 2 video games

[edit]

I resubmitted the draft with a much more complete list. I included Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Legends ZA (from the report that the half of its total sales was the Switch 2 version). Please me know what you think.Yoshiman6464♫🥚01:45, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't reviewed a draft for a while. But anyway, I think it might be declined because I only see one independent source (IGN) and that's only talking about how much the Switch 2 console has sold, not its games. Since I've already reviewed this one, I'll let another user review it.JuniperChill (talk)09:26, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations! --Gerda Arendt (talk)09:57, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I even talked about getting Animal Crossing to FA there, but its on pause due to the upcoming major update (announced a few days after the station opened), and some non-high-quality sources present in the article. I'll get a DYK for Beaulieu soon!JuniperChill (talk)10:17, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! - I have three biographies on the main page today, missa fourth one, nominated a fifth, that means little time for other matters. My places now includeLa Scala, - see music, Verdi three times, and twice inmy story! --Gerda Arendt (talk)16:53, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for support in November! - OnSt. Cecilia's Day - patron saint of music - I remembera composition by Benjamin Britten, and havea woman on the main page who illustrated songs, with a sense of humour. --Gerda Arendt (talk)19:27, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Administrator Elections - Call for Candidates

[edit]

The administrator elections process has officially started! Interested editors are encouraged to self-nominate or arrange to be nominated by reviewing the instructions atWikipedia:Administrator elections/December 2025/Candidates.

Here is the schedule:

  • November 25 – December 1 - Call for candidates
  • December 4–8 - Discussion phase
  • December 9–15 - SecurePoll voting phase

Please note the following:

  • The requirements to run are identical toRFA—a prospective candidate must beextended confirmed.
  • Prospective candidates are advised to become familiar with the community's expectations of administrators, which are much higher than the minimum requirement of having extended confirmed status. This includes reviewingsuccessful andunsuccessful RFAs, reading the essayWikipedia:Advice for admin elections candidates, and possibly requesting anoptional poll on their chances of passing.
  • The process will have a seven day call for candidates phase, a two day pause, a five day discussion phase, and a seven day private vote using SecurePoll. Discussion and questions are only allowed on the candidate pages during the discussion phase.
  • The outcome of this process is identical to making a request for adminship. There isno official difference between an administrator appointed through RFA versus administrator elections.
  • Administrator elections are also avalid means of regaining adminship for de-sysopped editors.

Ask any questions about the process at thetalk page. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.

If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.

You're receiving this message because you signed up for the mailing list. To opt-out of future mailings, pleaseremove yourself from the list.
