There is an ongoing discussion on the article's talk page. Please do not make these changes without generating consensus and joining the discussion on the talk page. Especially with such an edit as large as the name of an article.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use thetalk page to work toward making a version that representsconsensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read abouthow this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevantnoticeboard or seekdispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporarypage protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you beingblocked from editing—especially if you violate thethree-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than threereverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Jo Jc JoTalk💬Edits📝17:48, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

HiJhowieNitnek and thank you for your recent additions toTimeline of Brussels! I agree with all of them and I allowed myself to make some more fixes to the page. I did notice, however, that you restored "span tags", such as in the links toManneken Pis and to Brussels placenames, and you have been using similar tags in several other articles, too. Please note that those tags are outdated, and translating runs of text, when necessary, is generally done through the{{Lang}} templates. You will find more details inWP:SPAN. In this case, though originally a Dutch (Flemish) word,Manneken Pis is now used in all languages, so no translation tag is required here. Moreover, as you may know, Brussels placenames in Wikipedia articles must follow the long-establishedlocal naming conventions, without the need for tags or italics for linkable articles (unless specifically required), so those markups are redundant, hence why I removed them again. If you have any questions, do let me know!Jason Lagos (talk)18:22, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created,Brusseler, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations fromreliable, independent sources.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is ofcentral importance on Wikipedia).
