Reverting changes to Kakrapar Atomic Power Station

[edit]

Hey there. I noticed that you revered my changes to the articleKakrapar Atomic Power Station. It was my mistake that I didn't add an edit message. However, I did preview my changes in the Visual Editor (couldn't view through the preview button since I hit publish by mistake). However, the changes I made were mainly to update the articles and remove incontinences with ground realities as well add better sources. I'm not sure how disputed work on Wikipedia but I urge you to reconsider your decision.

PS: I am relatively new to Wikipedia and not sure how 'User Talk' works or it's ultimate purpose. I'm not sure if it appropriate or within standards or guidelines to point things like this in User Talk. However, I saw no better way of contacting you on this.

Castes and origin budathoki

[edit]

budathoki is Nepalese khas (aryan) surname used by both magars and chhetris. Because budathoki is a part of magar clan and the language of this is kham magar language Jessica I would like to say that Budathoki is chhetri surname belonging to jarra chhetri (a pure chhetri, who doesn't sonsume alcohol ,meat and only eat pant based and milk based food) .they are known for having ekatariya clan chhetris so I would kindly request Wikipedia to change information about budathoki, in Wikipedia, it's is written like (budathoki is surname belonging to tgadhari brahmin)chhetri no they are not brahmin they are pure chhetris jarra chhetris also a surname of magar clan so i.beg you to change that pleaseManish chamling (talk)15:10, 29 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can you make this change in the list of Happy Tree Friends episodes?

[edit]

Hi, i hope it's not much, but can you change the episode order, please? It's not accurate with how they were originally released online.

According to archives of the old show website, they were originally listed likethis, which is further supported bythesewebsites. That way, it's more accurate and the release dates make more sense when looking that them chronologically.

I don't have the confidence to do it myself because i might mess up the article and that is the last thing i'd want to do. I just want people to know the order these episodes were released on the web. Hope you understand that, thank you.

please don't needlessly remove edits

[edit]

ok, i get that you don't like my efns, but you went straight south of miami river you would not be in Brickell avenue, also even if i went southeast despite it telling me to go south, the distance was still unspecified.Misterpotatoman (talk)05:56, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am not removing edits "for no reason," I am removing them when you're making unneccessary cleanup for others, just to add what is essentially trivia.
You need to slow down and learn the basics of grammar. ReBrickell Avenue, I am having a hard time understanding how anyone could think that this:
[[Mile|mile's]]
could possibly be the way to pluralize "miles." The correct form does not take an apostrophe. Simply type:
[[mile]]s. I have fixed that error, rather than reverting.
I am again removing your changes atIcosium. I am asking you again to stop with the efn business. Footnotes, which you can read more abouthere, are meant for explanatory asides which work better at the bottom of the text (and visible when hovered over). They should not be used to replace every parenthetical statement in the text. There are lots of places where parentheses are more appropriate and standard. For instance I have literally never seen a footnote be used instead of parentheses for the derivation of a place name, like "(Punic:ʾY KSM, "Island of the Owls";Ancient Greek:Ἰκόσιον,Ikósion)".
Aside from being unnecessary, when you changed that to a footnote, you introduced errors and lost the wikilinks. Your capitalization is all over the place - the header "notes", "world heritage site", and "greek" need caps. You also used "Franch". All for totally unnecessary changes, which I am again removing.
Please do not redo these changes, please stop adding a unnecessary and error-filled footnotes, or I will simply escalate this to admins.Jessicapierce (talk)16:40, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. Well I've definitely never ever seen a building's infobox set up to display in that largely-hidden way. I don't see a lot of "hide/show" at all, except on navboxes at the bottom of articles, or tables of sports statistics. I hadn't readMOS:DONTHIDE until just now, and was ignorant of that guideline, but that it makes sense.
I mean, the purpose of the infobox is to give the basic facts at a glance, right? Forcing one to display in a pre-collapsed manner is the literal opposite of that - it's hiding the basic facts from view.Jessicapierce (talk)02:55, 8 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary

[edit]

Please do not use an edit summary such as "Restored last good version" (diff) when restoring newly added text to aWP:BLP article. That is particularly true when adding garbage about someone's alleged dating life. Each edit has to have a reason related to improving the encyclopedia. If you think it is important that the world knows the latest gossip on someone's romantic life, please use that as the edit summary.Johnuniq (talk)05:58, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No nicer way to say that, huh? Genuinely thought I was doing the right thing by restoring what seemed like sourced content. But I take your point.Jessicapierce (talk)06:01, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to be rude but you have over 139,000 edits and should be very familiar with standard procedures. My irritation is actually due to the wording of the recently added text which is obviously inappropriate at bothNicola Coughlan andLuke Newton. If an experienced editor wants that kept, they should know that it has to be reworded (after checking the nature of the source and whether any other sources discuss the claims).Johnuniq (talk)06:12, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2 people stabbed is not trivial

[edit]

It’s true that the story alone may not merit the historical record in the long term but it does reflect growing crime/social disfunction in Japanese urban areas.— Precedingunsigned comment added by~2025-40811-23 (talk)03:34, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like a fair point, but you do need to say more than "two people were stabbed" - if you can provide some context, and sources, feel free to re-add it. Thanks,Jessicapierce (talk)03:38, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Revision

How is "The Sixties in America: School desegregation-Zappa, Frank. United States: Salem Press, 1999." not a reliable source?Floraracine (talk)03:37, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You can see the article as it appeared after your changeshere (scroll down). You added a duplicate reflist and a lot of extraneous formatting, causing errors. Your source may be perfectly valid, but the formatting and phrasing of it were very unclear. Changing "misandrist" to "feminist" is significant, and you really need to add a clear, working source for that. Please seeWP:REFBEGIN for tips, if you'd like to re-add the content.Jessicapierce (talk)03:42, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I looked at it, and it was a mess, as described above. You have now simply removed sourced content; please don't do that. You are more than welcome to update or correct the article, but you have to include sources. I don't know how I can be more clear about this.Jessicapierce (talk)04:22, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Hunter474334 comments

[edit]

Are those first two entries inUser talk:Hunter474334 from twinkle selections or from another tool? I really like them and would like to be able to use them. Also, I'm onWP:FRAT, and Hank Nuwer is probably the best SME on the topic in the US, I have *zero* problems with additions referencing his books/website. If these additions didn't break the table, they wouldn't be that bad.Naraht (talk)20:17, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I did realize, after reverting, that the Nuwer source had been used quite extensively as a source on the hazing deaths list. At first glance, it looked like a personal blog, but he does seem like an expert, so I'm sure that source is fine. My main reason for removing those edits was the various formatting messes, which it looks like you've reverted as well.
Those messages are just templates fromWP:WARN; the two I used there would be {{subst:uw-preview}} and {{subst:uw-editsummary}}. They're super handy. Cheers,Jessicapierce (talk)20:53, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback request for manual draft in my sandbox

[edit]

Hello Jessicapierce,

I have now completely rewritten my draft in my sandbox to ensure it is a result of manual synthesis. I have corrected the formatting issues mentioned earlier, including standardizing headings to sentence case and fixing the reference syntax.

I would appreciate it if you could provide some brief feedback on whether the text now meets Wikipedia's standards before I consider moving it to the main article space. You can find the draft here:User:Sascho_Jovanoski_70329/sandbox

Thank you for your guidance.

Music composer Ooh Aah Just A Little Bit

[edit]

Deat Jessica. The incorrect accreditation has only recentlybeen brought to my attention. I wrote the music and lyrics of the song EXCEPT for the middle 8 bars. If you check the cd label etc, call my publisher Peermusic Uk or contact PRS/ MCPS, ( who themselves are making the correction, they will all confirm the fact. I own 70% of the copyright which reflects this fact. I hope this can confirm to your satisfaction the error. Regards. Simon TauberSimtau (talk)12:03, 21 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Great, then if you can provide a source, feel free to update the article.Jessicapierce (talk)15:30, 21 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
i did and it's been changed again. Steve Rodway is only credited with the middle 8 bars and even this has been disputed. He also failed to pay me £500,000 bacl in 1996 and ruined my life back then. To see him now take credit as composer is beyond painful.Simtau (talk)20:09, 22 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Reverted contribution to Coronavirus spike protein.

[edit]

Re: Reverted contribution to Coronavirus spike protein. If you study the other contents of this Wiki, you will find that all the material describes results quoted in references to their own work. If you look through the references you will see they all stop before 2023, and do not discuss the very interesting question of why the pandemic ended abruptly. It seems to me that this is an important question that has not been discussed so far. It seems very likely that I am the only person who will ever discuss it.James C. You greatly changed previous wording without giving a source or a compelling reason why. "Each other" is two words. Your phrasing was unclear because you did not use punctuation around "n" or "an." "How languages are nested within each other" makes no sense; you may have meant "words" or "letters" instead of "languages." Altogether it was not an improvement.Jessicapierce (talk)06:23, 12 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Ho Henh Phoc

[edit]

Hi there,

In regards to Ho Henh Ph(u)oc, the Vietnamese decathlete. This book in PDF form states that he is Chinese Nung and was born in the former Hai Ninh autonomous province in North Vietnam, rather than the southern Ninh Hai. The book also states that he later became an actor in Hong Kong, chiefly using the Cantonese stage name Kam Kong.

I do apologise for the messy edit, I must learn to create proper citations.

The book also confirms that despite the slight difference in spelling* it is the same person.

  • Phuoc is his given name transliterated into Vietnamese pronunciation.

His name in the Ngai language predominantly used in the former Hai Ninh would be transliterated as Phuc.IamtheBuu (talk)11:01, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, feel free to add that place of birth, with any citation you can include (WP:REFBEGIN is helpful).

Jedorton33Jedorton33 (talk)23:42, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea of the copyright status of your images, and I didn't say anything about that in my many messages on your talk page. That was not the problem. Your edits have contained various other issues, which should be addressed. Your previous edits atKingdom of Kush were not explained in the edit summary, moved content around, broke up a sentence on the page, and included various punctuation and capitalization errors. Please read the Manual of Style -WP:MOS - before editing further. A large number of your changes have been removed, and you are causing a lot of cleanup work for others.Jessicapierce (talk)23:50, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Jedorton33Jedorton33 (talk)23:59, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you should always be using the edit summary blank at the bottom, to describe your changes. 00:24, 19 January 2026 (UTC)Jessicapierce (talk)00:24, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Changes like what exactly ? (just want to make sure so they don't get removed again)Jedorton33 (talk)00:30, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You really need to start by learning the rules and expectations of Wikipedia, or your edits will continue to be removed, by myself, or others.
The edit summary should briefly describe what you did when changing a page. You can take a look at my recent edits pagehere for examples.Jessicapierce (talk)00:32, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I followed what jessica told me to add an edit summary and I did can you please explain what's wrong with my edit to the kingdom of kush page ? and why you removed my edit ? and is their a way i can fix the issue ? it was removed by discospinster for reasons I don't know why?Jedorton33 (talk)01:14, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, others are likely to continue to remove your edits, if you continue to add errors.
To know why another editor did something, you will need to ask them. If I had to guess why Discospinster removed your changes, it could be that the article already has plenty of images, the reelvance of your image is unclear, it disrupted the layout of the page, its caption contains multiple punctuation and capitalization errors, you added a lot of unnecessary spacing, and your edit was overall not an improvement.Jessicapierce (talk)01:19, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Robbie G.K. page

[edit]

Hi Jessica - Please restore the edits I made to Robbie G.K.'s page. I corrected errors previously published. You asked for citations. I am his mother, I raised him. I know the details of his birthplace (Kitchener, not Port Credit - he moved to Port Credit with his family at age 10), schools, when he started acting (age 10 not 13) and other career details. These are not things I can cite from online sources, and few other people would know these details. I am citing them from my lived experience and first-hand knowledge. You can contact Robbie's agent, Daniel, at Talent House to verify who I am.~2026-39528-5 (talk)00:41, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid the onus is on you to provide sources. Personal knowledge does not count - it's actually a issue, as it constitutes a conflict of interest. There is a way to have the page corrected, but you really can't just make unsourced changes. The easiest way is to post a request on the article's Talk page, asking for someone else to make the changes. Also, you may want to create a proper, named account, because I can't actually tell what article we're talking about, due to you being a temporary User at the moment.Jessicapierce (talk)00:44, 19 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Leonard Foglia page edits

[edit]

Hello, I was wondering why edits made Porfirio2001 were taken down. I believe they had all the proper supporting material. Another question - how can so much inaccurate and unsupported information stand on Leonard Foglia's page? But correct information is deleted. Many thanks for you attention.Leonard Foglia (talk)18:11, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I left a message about the edit on that user's talk page, which you can findhere. You can see the Leonard Foglia article as it appeared after those editshere. If you scroll down to the bottom of that page, you will see a red citation error. The references also appeared as one huge chunk of text; they may be totally legitimate sources, but the way they appear there isn't standard or useable. The new first paragraph contained various errors. Overall, it just was not an improvement. These issues can be fixed, but I do caution you against making the changes yourself, because of your conflict of interest.
The easiest way to have the page corrected is probably to post an open request on its own talk page, which you can findhere. Thank you,Jessicapierce (talk)18:21, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you outline the changes you'd like to see here, and can provide sources, I may be able to make those corrections for you. Thank you,Jessicapierce (talk)18:21, 26 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

All the sources provided by Porfirio2001 (that's not me) are correct. In fact there are more than needed. How can I present that to you correctly? Why are they not usable or standard? Thank you. LFLeonard Foglia (talk)11:40, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Those source may well be completely correct; it's the way they appear that is not standard or helpful. Please viewthis page and scroll down to almost the very bottom, where you will see the "References" section. The references numbered 2 through 5 were added by previous editors, are properly formatted, and their footnote numbers appear at specific spots in the text.
By contrast, reference 1 is an unreadable chunk of text, because that editor did not format them correctly. As you say, there are many more sources than necessary, and it's unclear what part of the article these sources are supporting.Jessicapierce (talk)17:39, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you again for your response. My last question - How can I have the page deleted entirely? There should not be so much incorrect information on line under my name.
Since I am unable to correct it, it should just come down. How can that happen?

I'm sorry, I actually don't know - I don't have the ability to directly remove an article, and this is out of my area of expertise.
You can post a question at the Help Desk (WP:HD), or you can post a "help me" message on your Talk page. Instructions on how to do that arehere; basically, go to your own Talk page (here), and post this:
{{Help me}}
along with a description of the issue at hand. Someone smarter than me will step in. :)Jessicapierce (talk)03:49, 30 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Fairfield, Montana

[edit]

Hello! Could you please explain the reasoning for removingUser talk:Grizfan37's addition of Jill Barta from theFairfield, Montana article? Granted she is a redlink now but my cursory look shows she likely meets notability. I don't want to re-add in case I'm out of touch with how these resident lists are handled. Thanks!Tbennert (talk)01:44, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, yes, I removed that entry because the person does not have her own article, and thus generally shouldn't be added to lists, such as "notable residents" sections. Per the notice I added to the contributor's talk page about it (note: I've just corrected my message there, as I somehow copied and pasted the wrong city - apologies if that caused confusion), "In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists." Some general guidelines are given atWP:CSC.
Honestly, I don't know about about sports to know whether Barta is likely to warrant her own article, but I'll take your word for it. I wouldn't fight her inclusion if someone felt strongly about it, or could make a case that she will have her own article soon.
This list entry was added by a very new editor who has a habit of adding local-level, not particularly wiki-notable trivia, so I wanted to be very clear with them about the general policy with lists like this. Cheers,Jessicapierce (talk)02:45, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply! I missed the link on their page. It used to be (probably long, long ago) someone could be added without an article already but I can see how that has likely led to vandalism and promotion.Tbennert (talk)04:27, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, definitely. And practically every human has been mentioned in some form of press, so providing a source for the person generally isn't enough. Otherwise Wikipedia would have vast redlinked residents lists on every town.
I'll tell you a secret though: when I see unsourced redlink things like "residents include Mrs. Brown, my beloved algebra teacher", I just pretend I never saw it. :)Jessicapierce (talk)04:38, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

About Chelsea in article about UEFA competitions

[edit]

Good, but it's very necesary clarify that Chelsea wasrequalified to EL round of 32 as 3rd team in 2012-13 CL group stage (in prior-1999 it must been elimined with appeal). It was the only case between all teams which has won the three seasonal UEFA competitions witch used this reform. Adding to Chelsea played the 2024-25 UECL finished six in the 2023-24 Premier League is necesary too considering that the system of qualification is inverse to the rest of UEFA competitions as CL, CWC and UC (a.e. in the current format 4 teams qualified in CL (the national champions and the 2nd and 3rd qualified to the national league), 2 in EL (4th and 5th) and 1 in UECL (6th); while in the lower leagues get part the main cup winner and/or the League cup winner). Also its important for this: if Chelsea must be eliminated from all the UEFA competitions that season, Manchester United would be the first English team to do so, having won all three UEFA competitions.--~~— Precedingunsigned comment added by~2026-86726-8 (talk)17:52, 9 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I added the template specifically because the infobox wasn't working. I didn't break it.Francescobelletta (talk)08:52, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the page as it appeared right before your edits;here are the effects of your edits. The infobox was broken due to the missing closing brackets here:
