Greetings J.delanoy! Sorry to generate even more work for you, but a user you blocked recently,User talk:208.68.153.242, has started vandal editing again now that the block is up. His/her/their edits have been reverted by other editors without any warnings and as I'm not the reverting editor, not sure if I can jump in there to add further warnings prior to further future blocks. Either way, in case these edits had slipped your notice, maybe you can check it out. Cheers - and thanks for being out there! --Technopat (talk)01:39, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
hello, J.delanoy. i just saw the vandalism that this IP user was perpetrating on the Carol Browner article. i think you are way too forgiving. i would have blocked the creep permanently after the third incident. (i'm no fan of Carol Browner). no need to respond. just my 2 cents worth.Kenatipo (talk)02:54, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed your removals and then reverts on actor articles that added the Razzie award template. I am going to remove them, mostly because whenWP:ACTOR debated and finally concluded to remove the parameters from theTemplate:Infobox actor, at no point in the debate didanyone support retaining the Razzie award parameter. The decision was basically that Razzies are bad faith parody awards, not legitimate industry or critical awards, are subject to voting by anyone who cares to pay the $25 fee to be a voter and ultimately wouldn't be listed on article filmographies or otherwise. My view is thatWP:ACTOR has already made a conclusion about adding the template. If this is disupted, I will gladly open anWP:RfC atWT:ACTOR and I am absolutely positive of the outcome. Although these templates have been around for a while, they haven't been added to the articles until today by a new editor. Just wanted to let you know my reasoning.Wildhartlivie (talk)02:45, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Hello there J.delanoy. Are you any good with Wikitables? If you are, please look atUser:Razorflame#Current editing statistics I would like that to be in a table with headers that say the following: Header 1 (first column header) says Namespace :::: Header 2 (second column header) says Edit count :::: Header 3 (third column header) says Percentage of edits. Do you think you could do that for me, seeing as I suck at that kind of thing? Please let me know on my talk page whether or not you can help me. Thanks,Razorflame19:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed you speedied that article. I am unsure C5 applied, since me and another editor had indeed contributed to the article (mostly trimming it) after its creation. I wonder if it is possible to have it userfied underUser:Cyclopia/List of dichotomies (without "simple") or if there are issues I am not aware of that prevent recreation. I would like to bring it to a meaningful shape. Thanks! --o17:28, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

If you think I vandalize, it is your right, but banning this ip would just prove that you do not care for unregistered users, I have a contributed this encyclopedia for a long time and many times my edits were automatically reverted by some RETARDS or bots just because I wasn't registered going as far as being banned for adding information (and sources) to articles which now have the information kept on them because I was persistent and kept putting my changes until no bot or RETARD would automatically revert it.—Precedingunsigned comment added by173.179.177.244 (talk •contribs)

Hello,
Early today the article named "The MadHatters" was speedy-deleted citing G12 as well as G7 and G11. This stated that some of the material under the 'History' section of this article was copied fromhttp://www.casa.org/node/2058. In fact, the information onhttp://www.casa.org/node/2058 was provided to the Contemporary A Cappella Society by The UW MadHatters as profile/biographical information. It was created by the MadHatters and can also be seen on their websitehttp://www.uwmadhatters.com/content/view/madhatters_in_history/. This fact was posted on the Talk:The MadHatters page after CorenSearchBot notified me (the page's creator) of the possible copyright infringement.
Because this information was created by The MadHatters and provided tohttp://www.casa.org/node/2058, it should not be considered copyright infringement.
I would greatly appreciate your time and consideration in the matter of hopefully undeleting this article.

Hello J. I've recently picked up the mop and am still learning the toops and procedures. I'm presently looking at possibly cleaning up recent attacks inUser talk:NJGW through a delete and selective restore operation, as you did several months back. I understand the delete and restore steps. However, when I look at thedeleted revisions, I see that most of the prior edit summaries have been replaced with "(comment removed)". How can I do that. I cannot find instructions on theWikipedia:New admin school/Deleting page and my searches to "comment removed" have been unsuccessful. Hello J.delanoy. Unfortunately I am no longer as active as I was on vandalism/spam fighting on this wiki and I do not want to hold unused flags I request you to remove my rollback flags here. As you know I'm a global rollbacker and it seems thatper policy I am allowed to use it so if some day I found any vandalism or spam I think it should not be a problem to use it and, of course, in the event any admin would require me to have local rollback again I will request it through the normal ways. Thank you, --Dferg (talk)21:18, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I was meaning to create anSPI, but it was hard for me to follow, and because I know you here a lot, I was hoping you could help me! Please check the page history onTodd Field, an article I created. By observing the edit summaries of the accounts in red, I believe they are under control of a main user. Perhaps the user forgot their password and is creating new accounts? Plus, most of the users are contributing only to pages related to Field. The period of time when there has been most activity from these possible "socks" was in the spring this year. So, what are your observations? Thanks.04:39, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi again! I realized I should have responded to the RFCU post, but I don't think I will right now. I am curious: on Mediawiki.org, I see a lot of reverts in your contribs. Do you use your own bot, or do you manually revert but include the standard edit summary (Reverted edits by User1 to last version by User2)? Link:[2] Thanks,00:01, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
I do not know what do you mean. ALL the media are saying the suspect is Ampatuan's family clan. So why put a misleading picture into the infobox? A warlord's personal clan is very different from Guerrilla rebellion forces.--1j1z2 (talk)06:17, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi J.delanoy, thanks for protectingNgo Dinh Diem presidential visit to Australia. I was going to request it, but then I realized it was a front-page article and that was probably why it was getting hit so hard. I had heard in the past that these articles were rarely protected because their increased visibility to vandals should correlate with increased visibility to anti-vandalism users, as well, so I was curious of your decision process here. What made you decide to protect it anyway? I only ask because I would like to try to get a better understanding of whenWP:RPP is appropriate and when it's not. Thanks again!
