Your submission atArticles for creation:3rd Indiana Volunteers (Mexican-American War) (November 6)

[edit]
Your recent article submission toArticles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Jcgaylor was:
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by alarge language model, such as ChatGPT. Their outputs usually have multiple issues that prevent them from meeting our guidelines on writing articles. These include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to readreliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. Seeour help page on large language models.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Large sections of the article, particularly in the beginning, return a high likelihood of being AI generated.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmitafter they have been resolved.

Hello, none of this section was AI generated. Some of it was borrowed from the1st Indiana Volunteers and the5th Indiana Volunteers which I have contributed to both pages before I had an account on here. The entire page had been edited by me and hand typed with citations before I submitted it. So I do not know why you are accusing me of using ChatGPT or AI, but this is not the case. I have contributed many new pages to Wikipedia including:Henning Von Minden,Alfred Bruce Brackett, andAsgrim Knutson Skaro among many others if you'd like to look at those for example of my writing style, but I have never used AI to create any of these pages. If you could please reconsider this course of action that would be great as I would like to have the article approved so that people can know abut Indiana's service during the Mexican-American War.HappyHistorian1862 (talk)15:48, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits toFrederick E. DuToit when you modified the page, you introducedunknown parameters. Just because you specify|some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The|some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use thepreview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is aShow preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Your submission atArticles for creation:The Flamin' Oh's (November 25)

[edit]
Your recent article submission toArticles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Mmemaigret was:
This submission's references do not show that the subjectqualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not showsignificant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject inpublished, reliable, secondary sources that areindependent of the subject (see theguidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (seetechnical help and learn aboutmistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
(1) Only significant coverageIRS is in the Star Tribune. (2) Copyvio issues (non-attribution, close-paraphrasing).
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmitafter they have been resolved.

Hello MmeMaigret,
None of my edits have been deliberate in trying to use copywritten materials, if I have I apologize. I just wanted to say that plainly and be clear from the start. If I have issues with materials then I will remove them from the pages and edit them so they are not in violation. Although I am "new" with this account, I have been editing and contributing towards pages (primarily history pages) since January, 2025 or earlier before I made this formal account. Yes I am relatively new, but none of this has been deliberate to get in trouble or have issues with people, just negligent on my behalf. I would suggest that your read my other pages besides the 6 you have chosen, such asJudson Wade Bishop OREdwin Aaron Clark Hatch which were both written by me before I had a formal account on here. In the meantime I will make edits or remove sections from the articles you have informed me about to correct them to be in-line with Wikipedia's Terms of Service. Thanks, and I hope I can keep editing and contributing towards WP.HappyHistorian1862 (talk)14:39, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
