Hi Gnoeee. You've been assigned to me as Wikipedia mentor.
Strange question. I suggested having an experimental Wikipedia edit sprint at a math conference. However, I am not a very experienced Wikipedian myself. I assume/hope that it is OK to coordinate and document the sprint's activities from a user space page as here:User:MiekMe/FAOTSA2025. It would be most useful to use the same platform as a sandbox for novice Wikipedians.
Any advice or suggestions for this experiment will be very welcome, maybe on the experiment's talk pageUser talk:MiekMe/FAOTSA2025.

Hi Gnoee,
I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for the time and effort you put into mentoring new Wikipedia contributors. I’ve really enjoyed learning and contributing so far, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow within the community.
I had a couple of questions I was hoping you could help clarify.
I’ve contributed to the publishing of a few Wikipedia pages, and I’ve noticed that while some of them appear in Google search results, others do not. I was curious about what typically accounts for this difference.
Additionally, I’m interested in learning more about how page translation works on Wikipedia. It seems like a valuable way to contribute, and I’d love to understand how editors get involved in that process.
Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to your response. --Tmworldview (talk)19:38, 17 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Gnoeee, I was just wondering, how do I add a photo of my topic and a personal info, career, medals etc. page below the photo. Thanks --Reed1244 (talk)13:30, 20 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I’m trying to add a citation to my edit. I broke the record for the longest Suwannee bass recorded and I’m trying to add a citation showing proof from the Georgia wildlife page. The catch is documented under the angler awards for 2025. Here is a link to the page.https://georgiawildlife.com/sites/default/files/wrd/pdf/angler-award/2025_AnglerAward_WebsiteInfo_012726.pdfMy name is Justin Owen, the Suwannee Bass was 17” and documented as such on 10/18/2025. Thank you for the help! --Streamandbio (talk)23:04, 27 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Can you please help me to submit my first draft on my personal biography? --BijayJ Contributor (talk)01:40, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, @Gnoeee! I was just mourning my recent IP ban on scratch (don't worry, I didn't do anything - it was kind of a misunderstanding but they already said I can't get it lifted) and realised I can still build internet cred by making wiki articles. So I was wondering, would an article along the lines of 'Sliding Block Puzzles, Their History, And Common Solving Strategies' be allowed and a good topic? Thanks! --Notsharediplol (talk)00:33, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, How can I creat an article about a book, a free hositpal in my village, and a shrine. --Miali Pk (talk)07:39, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I am fairly new to editing, so i need some constructive input
I want to know how to go about updating (or removing) a reference that is 'legitimate' in that its published, but whose author has noted conflicts - in the footnotes of other articles - to the band (in this instance) that it is being used as a negative reference for. --DismalAeon (talk)13:09, 10 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Than you for your kind and generous comment on my user talk page, Gnoeee. By working together, I hope we are helping to make the world a bit better through building an encyclopedia of knowledge. Sometimes a bit of encouragement goes a long way!Dcattell (talk)21:44, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
