ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. Alleligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

TheArbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting theWikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to imposesite bans,topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Thearbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Please stop adding a copy of the move discussion template to this page. Also, your edit summary "copyediting" is not inline with your changes. Copy editing means moving changes from one page to another.Ecrusized (talk)15:04, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The move discussion duplicate was an error; I didn't notice it copied over when I made my edit. I figured that my "copyediting" edits fit with what's given in thedescription of copyediting here, which reads in part that copyediting includes "correcting for grammar, spelling, readability, or layout," though admittedly, I could be more specific in my edit summaries. I'll give more detail as to what exact changes I make in the future.
