Hi Ive noticed that you made some changes to the Mr and Mrs. Wikipedia page. i just wanted to let you know that some of those corrections are not necessary. There really is no need for a transmissions grid or the all Star Series especially, when there is already a grid for each series of the show. It is also not necessary to addStephen Mulhern in the infobox as a host as he is only hosting 1 episode and a simple note on te bottom of the 4th series episode gid would suffice. The way that it is right now is fine the way that it is.Thanks!66.130.78.67 (talk)18:41, 22 August 2012 (UTC)samusek2[reply]

Please do not add or change content, as you did toLauren Harries, withoutverifying it by citing areliable source. Please review the guidelines atWikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.Bbb23 (talk)22:25, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The source for the song does not mention Harries by name. Speculation that the name used in the source refers to Harries is just that, speculation. The source for Big Brother is from 2007, not from 2013. Until you can find reliable sources that fully support the material, don't put the material back.--Bbb23 (talk)22:27, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for your recent edits to Eurovision Song Contest articles. I notice that you have stripped several articles of all their images and then placed them in a gallery section. Miscellaneous image galleries at the end of an article are not permitted as per the guidance atWP:GALLERIES.Wikipedia is not an image repository and images should only be included to enhance other content - putting a random gallery of images at the end of the article does not achieve this objective. Image galleries belong onWikimedia Commons and should be linked from articles using{{Commons}}. This issue has been previously discussed and consensus was that miscellaneous image galleries are not appropriate in "Country in the Eurovision Song Contest" articles. Please seeWikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision/Archive 5#Mass creation of galleries.
While beingbold is good, I would strongly recommend that in future, before making mass edits to multiple article, you please declare what you are about to do so others can comment and resolve any issues, whether they are minor or major. For instance, I would have also pointed out that there is not such word as "photogallery" - that is two words. Wikipedia is very pedantic when it comes to grammar and spelling in articles.CT Cooper ·talk17:36, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Forgive me Pickette, but I am confused by what you mean? I never said the RfC was unclear, although I was referencing to the main point of the galleries issue which to be fair was a weird topic, as you pointed out, it went from one extreme to another. When I said lack of participation, I was again referencing to the galleries topic within the RfC, and not the entire RfC in general. As I have noted to Coop, I've found the culprit who has rolled out these galleries en-mass (an IP user who also opted for the "photogallery" phrase). So I'm waiting to see what Coop's view is on this, and what action (if any) needs to be taken next. Ideally I think the proposal made above about holding a debate atWT:ESC is feasible. But as most of us will be getting busier personally over the next couple of days, then it may be logical to postpone the discussions until the new year, and thus maximise our chances of mass-participation.WesMᴥuse23:12, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

HelloFort esc. I noticed you reverted an edit of mine atMiracle (Paula Seling and Ovi song). In case you didn't see my message on the article talk page, this article (and several others related to Romanian celebrities) is a favourite target ofUser:Beleiutz, a long-term sockpuppeteer who persistently inserts copyright-infringing images and promotional text. Almost all major contributions toMiracle (Paula Seling and Ovi song) have been from his sockpuppets. Normally the sockpuppet edits are reverted as per our policyWP:EVADE. It's OK for you to reinstate them, though keep in mind that according to the policy this means that you are taking responsibility for their contents. If you want your reversion to stand then it would be great if you could check the material over for promotional language and copyright violations. (Beleiutz's English is also quite poor, so perhaps you could copy-edit any text you retain as well.) Thanks! —Psychonaut (talk)20:13, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fort,
Just read your message at the CfD regarding country articles on Dutch Wikipedia. Do you happen to have a link for some of them, as it would be a great idea to use them and translate into English. This will now mean that we'd be able to make navigation templates for the respective countries - once the articles have expanded considerably of course.WesMouse16:01, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We have a problem with the ABU Radio Song Festivals. They were originally a biennial event, but I see that this has now become an annual thing. The infobox for ABU Radio has been designed specifically to handle a two-yearly event. As you will see on the 2014 article, it gives links from 2012 and 2016 - it is impossible to get the template to switch from skipping backwards 2 years and forward 1 year. SO I think we need to hold off any further while I figure out a way to fix this issue.Wes Mouse | T@lk19:00, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

FortEsc,
An idea for expanding content onEurovision Song Contest's Greatest Hits. Seeing as we have to cite sources for verifiability, and there are no written sources to help verify if we were to mention the video montages that also appeared on the show, then we can use{{Cite episode}} instead. This should help us mention facts like the video footage that was shown before an entry, or the appearance ofLys Assia. Just thought I'd share the tip with you in case you wanted to expand the article with further details.Wes Mouse | T@lk13:29, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fort esc,
I am thinking of editing the article aboutThe Crystal Maze with a citation from its IndieGoGo webpage, where all the information about its new comeback is held.
On the one hand, the IndieGoGo page contains relevant information concerning the playstyle of the new Crystal Maze, but it would also link users to a site that offers to exchange goods and services for money, which could boost the campaign's success.
Should I include this citation, or should I modify my entry and find another, more suitable citation from, say, a news website?
Thanks,95StockM (talk)19:21, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fort, hope all is well. Just a quickie really to seek opinion on some work I've been doing on [Country] in JESC articles. I've made a start on Albania for now, and if the improvements work better, then I am going to do the same across all of the other country articles. Before the extensive work the articlelooked like this. But after some hard source searching, I've managed to turn a poor stub into aglamorous C-class. Which if nobody has reverted my work, should still be intact asAlbania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. What do you think? Major improvement, or more work required?Wes Mouse ✒16:36, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The main article will eventually be the last article to improve, and then the Kids Jury will get noted within there. There way I've been doing these re-writes is work on the main article body for each country first. Once that has been improved, then the lead can be re-done to summarise the article. And then once all the countries are done, and their respective annual pages too (as some still don't have an annual page), then we will be able to work on the main JESC article, and pool together content from all country articles and rebuild the perfect main JESC article. The other articles are like the roots of a tree, and the parent JESC article is the tip of that tree. Start from the bottom at the roots, and work our way upwards. Makes the restructuring easier.Wes Mouse ✒15:59, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Fort, could do with an extra set of eyes keeping a watch onSerbia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The article has come under extensive vandalism from multiple IPs over the last 18 months, and very extensive edit warring in the last 2 weeks, from 4 IP's and 1 user who have been adding very large chunks of content that was unsourced, poorly written (clear Google Translator edits), and excessive in statistical data, like the ones made in this edit. The Serbian article nowlooks like this after a major re-write. I would be truly greatful for the help in preventing further vandalism, and if it doe occur feel free to issue the editors with the most harsh of warnings ever known. Thanks. P.S. | WikiProject Eurovision Important Announcement Dear Project Member Following aproject community discussion, which was raised over the use of English translation columns on annual contest articles, andadvice from the lead coordinator ofThe Guild of Copy Editors, who are extremely knowledgeable in regards toall editing practises and manual of style policies. Aconsensus decision has been reached tofully removeALL English translations, as such content falls under the prohibition onoriginal research, even if it seems helpful to the reader. This is because we have now to assume that every reader has access to automated translation tools that can always give them a sense of the meaning of the title in their native language; it isnot Wikipedia's job to provide those tools for the reader. Which therefore means we are no longer to include an English translation column, nor are we to provide translation by any other means on contest articles. Such information is currently in the process of being removed, and a new table formatting and layout style is being rolled out across all articles. Please view the new guidance on table layout atWikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Format and Guides#Article layout. An example of the new table layout style can also be access via the collapsed section within this message. Thank you. |

You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war according to the reverts you have made onList of countries in the Eurovision Song Contest. Users are expected tocollaborate with others, to avoid editingdisruptively, and totry to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added toCategory:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found atWP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact thebot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them atWikipedia talk:Non-free content.RonBot (talk)17:17, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text fromThe Masked Singer (American TV series) intoMasked Singer. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere,Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in anedit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying andlinking to the copied page, e.g.,copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted{{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons atWikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. —Diannaa 🍁 (talk)13:43, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up atthe contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

An article you recently created,List of Eurovision Song Contest jurors, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations fromreliable, independent sources.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is ofcentral importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft todraftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia'sgeneral notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, thanks for your improvements toBBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician. You didn't source your statement, so I have addedBBC Alba to broadcast BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year final 2013, which also supports the claim for 2012. I can see it was also televised in2014 atBBC Online.
The next reference I can find is for2020 atBBC Online. So, I might just think that the Beeb has done a poor job of documenting it in the intervening years, except that if bilingual Mary Ann Kennedy last presented the awards in 2015, and Gaelic-speaker Joy Dunlop did not join Bruce MacGregor until 2020, then did Alba really broadcast it in English only from 2016-2019? Something doesn't add up.
I do know that the "adult" awardsMG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards are broadcast on Alba. Is there a possibility that you are confusing those with this youth award? --Monxton (talk)17:59, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for helping to improve the table I created. I am not sure James Newman belongs on the list at all, since he never took part in a UK final. But to leave him out seems odd. Cliff Richard & Lyn Paul being considered multi-contestants seems confusing, too, although they were involved in competitions to choose songs, regardless of their status as a competitive artist. I've not yet been able to source full details of ASFE 1977, 1979, 1985 or 1986 for other potential multi-participants. The articleSweden in Eurovision Choir has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Needlessly duplicates content fromEurovision Choir 2019 with less context. Only one year of participation for this country and the event is canceled, so there is little opportunity for expansion of this article in the future.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. In particular, thespeedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andarticles for deletion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to thehistory of each individual page for details. Thanks,FastilyBot (talk)09:01, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

HiFort esc!. Nice to talk to you. I have a question for you regarding Belgium.
I haven't been filling out the Belgian participant broadcaster because I don't have the slightest idea which of the two has participated (meaning: has entered the competition) in each case, I am trusting you in the hope that you have more idea than me on this subject.
But seeing your last updates, were RTBF and VRT really able to send a joint entrant, they who hardly agree? It would be something extraordinary. Is this true, because you have indications of it, or have you simply filled in the field depending on who has broadcast the contest? Because neither the fact that they have both broadcast it means that they have sent a joint entrant, nor does the fact that information has been found about the broadcast by one and not yet by the other means that the first one was the one to enter the competition.Ferclopedio (talk)11:06, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fort esc, sorry to bother you again, but I found an inconsistency and I can not verify it (links are death) to fix it.
It is regarding the Czech Republic inEurovision Young Dancers 2003. In the contest page, in the result table, it shows that they came second (in Contemporary), the text says that they only received an special "young jury" award. But in the infobox they appear aswinners, and the county pageCzech Republic in the Eurovision Young Dancers, says that they came first. And furthermore, inEurovision Young Musicians 2022 it says: "The winner was the Czech Republic ... marking the country's first win in the competition and atany Eurovision event since Eurovision Young Dancers 2003.".Ferclopedio (talk)12:44, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The verified information you provide is essential to complete the picture on the subject, especially on a topic like this that time had led to oblivion. Please do not introducelinks todraft articles in actual articles, as you did toEurovision Song Contest. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to theManual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. -Arjayay (talk)17:09, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
