WHY IS WIKIPEDIA SO HARD TO USE anyways the article on "andrea e kirkwood" i wanted to point out how hes just deleting stuff for no reason and even if its wrong hes being lazy by deleting it instead of fixing itMediocremathematician (talk)02:08, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is not my job to fix the problems you caused. If you don't understand biographical information needs secondary sourcing, then maybe this isn't the place for you. You were given a big, pink notice every time you clicked "edit".Drmies (talk)13:32, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Aretecracy draft — updated for NEO/sourcing, ready for re-review

Hello Drmies — just a quick heads-up: I’ve posted a short resubmission note atDraft talk:Aretecracy after addressing the sourcing/NEO concerns (trimmed primary, removed undergraduate thesis, added independent secondary sources, and fixed citations). Many thanks for taking another look. —Jonas2020 (talk)21:00, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • I see it was declined again? Listen, as long as you insist on keeping that "further reading" in there people like me are going to think that you're just plugging your own work, or that of this other person.Drmies (talk)22:26, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • What do you want me to think? I'm more troubled by the hagiographical content of the rest of the article.Drmies (talk)13:40, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Ongoing" needs an "as of", and the title of that source (no. 13 in the current version, Lopez vs. Antoninus) is incorrect; moreover, I don't believe such content should be cited to primary sources.Drmies (talk)14:04, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    • Wow! Thanks for fixing it. I was more concerned with the scandals section. Single topic brain, I suppose. It would have taken me days to do what you did in 16 minutes? I am humbled! Do you happen to have a time machine or something? 100k GPUs tied into your brain? Thanks again!Adakiko (talk)01:22, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
      • Adakiko, it's all in a day's work--aUser:Sitush joke, and Sitush knows how to prune. I've done this long enough, and by now I've lost my patience for bullshit--so much in that page was bullshit, sourced to the guy's autobiography. We don't need to be gentle there. I haven't done much with the section you were concerned with; I think you should try to find something better for that second paragraph, but perhaps all of it is properly sourced in thatPillar article. Good luck,Drmies (talk)14:37, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

November music

story ·music ·places

Today I have three biographies on the main page, in memory, missa fourth one, nominated a fifth, that means little time for other matters. My places now includeLa Scala, - see music, Verdi three times, and twice inmy story! --Gerda Arendt (talk)20:35, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Look, today's image, -she "portrayed" herself with her husband at the end of the table, - would have been good for Thanksgiving ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk)16:59, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Clone Draft

Hi Drmies, thanks for taking a look at theDraft:Clone (company) and adding the notability tag.

I understand that the current sourcing isn’t sufficient — I’m still in the process of collecting additional independent references. Quick question: would you recommend that I move this to my user space and keep working there, or is it fine to continue expanding the draft where it is while I gather more sources?AlexandraGoncharik-sms-16:54, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey--no, it's fine where it is: that's exactly what draft space is for. I left that note/tag not to disfigure but to draw your attention to what might happen if you submit quickly--many submit quickly and sometimes foolishly, but I see now that this is not your first rodeo; feel free to remove that tag, and consider whether "Projects" on your page needs updating. ;)Drmies (talk)16:57, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Drmies — I'll leave the draft where it is and focus on expanding it with stronger independent sources before considering submission. :)AlexandraGoncharik-sms-17:41, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive edits at AJ Styles

We have a disruptive editor,User:Cenation Dog, repeatedly making edits atAJ Styles in which they are not only purposely adding non-words (appearanced) but making unsourced claims of the subject using slurs against homosexuals. Their edit summaries in doing this state "I feel like it's better this way." They're also mass deleting chunks of other articles with the only edit summary being "Making it more simple." Please look into this if able. Thanks.NJZombie (talk)22:06, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey--OK first of all I gotta say that rasslin is pretty stupid, isn't it. Someone actually prayed to God to win some match? Couldn't he just have put in a request to management? I p-blocked them from that article: those edits were stupid. I'm not sure if I should revdel that stuff all the way at the bottom; perhaps some other admin can have a look. It's unverified too, but I can't rightly tell, after only one cup of coffee, whether that makes it more or less of a candidate for revdeletion.Tamzin, are you still with us? I know you love the WWE--do you have an opinion?Drmies (talk)14:05, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Drmies:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding amonth longBacklog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is toreduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help!MediaWiki message delivery (talk)06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

For taking care ofthis nonsense while I was away. Thank you!JeffSpaceman (talk)12:15, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm here: I createdAdhirasam during that doughnut drive that you and CoM were running. I just found another article on the same topicAriselu (using the transliteration from Telugu as opposed to my Tamil). Probably need to be merged, my title is more common in Indian English while the other article is older. Some fixing needed, Doc! —SpacemanSpiff04:04, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Bro you're going to leave that for me? CoM--that was ten, fifteen years ago! Well I'll have a look, but I'm sleuthing something right now. Good to see you Spiffy. You're the best.Drmies (talk)19:47, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
