Thank you so much for your kind assistance in fixing some of the explanatory footnotes, as well as applying columns to the citations, in my recently moved article on
Felice Lascelles. Your actions made my article look so much better, and I am most grateful to you for your help.

Llywelyn DNB ref

[edit]

Hi, I saw your edit on theLlywelyn ap Iorwerth article, but didn't understand the problem with the Dictionary of National Biography, Lee 1893 harv reference. Could you please explain what you did in the references ?Cltjames (talk)20:40, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! That reference wasn't being used in the article so it left an error message in the "References" section (look at the end of that sectionbefore andafter my edit). Hope this helps! –Daℤyzzos (✉️ • 📤)21:19, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks, I see. I was using my mobile app and didn't see the error. Now I've added something missing from the text in the reference.Cltjames (talk)21:48, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]

Hello @DaZyzzos, I found your profile via the cleanup project. I wrote a page by being as neutral and factual as possible (including listing criticisms and legal proceedings). Could you give me some feedback about :Doctrine (startup) ? Thanks !Condottiero dei tempi moderni (talk)20:27, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ref cleaning tool

[edit]

DaZyzzos, it looks like you have an unused ref cleanup tool. Does it work for various formats with a search, or just ones in reflist? I am thinking aboutNonmetal which I suspect has unused refs, but because of the format used it is hard to track. I may have a few other suggestions if your script works on that one.Ldm1954 (talk)23:12, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Uhh... sorry, but I don't. Whenever I've made an edit with a summary like "fixed incorrect references formatting—commented out 2 disused list references—you can help!," all the editing is done manually and the edit summary is just autosaved byGoogle.
It's not that technical to check for unused refs (and no,Nonmetal has none), though. When you have one, abig, bold, red error message (an example of which can be seenhere) gets added to the bottom of the reflist. If you have multiple, you get an error message for each bad ref, and you just go through the list and comment out (using<!-- and-->) or remove each of the bad refs. Hope this helps!
