Dear TrueCRaysball,

I'd like to extend a cordial invitation to you to join theFifteen Year Society, an informal group for editors who've been participating in the Wikipedia project for fifteen years or more.

How does Facebook know?

[edit]

Hey man, how are you doing? You just popped up on my Facebook profile's "people you may know" section. I don't think we interacted here for like 15 years, so I was really baffled at how Facebook made that connection (took me a while to realize it was you as well). Anyway, hope you're doing well! See you around.--Atlan (talk)10:05, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

[edit]

Hello, TrueCRaysball,

I saw a comment you made in an AFD and your signature linked toUser:CR90, which I assume is a former account of yours. Could you change your signature so that it links to your current User account? Otherwise, it is very confusing to other editors. Thank you.LizRead!Talk!01:49, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, Liz.CR90 (talk ·contribs) is an alternate account that I created specifically to shorten my signature. As far as I have read, this does not violate any guidelines and policy, and it was actually something I did on recommendations from other admins and bureaucrats to deal with my signature length ages ago. If I were to switch it to my actual name, it would put me in violation ofWP:SIG by 5 characters. So, this is not something I am able to do. Have a great day.TrueCRaysball💬|✏️02:49, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[edit]

Hi, your signature, as used in editslike this, contains an unescaped pipe character in contravention ofWP:CUSTOMSIG. I have fixed some recent instances (examples): please ensure that it does not happen again. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk)21:05, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed my signature on my signature page to comply going forward. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I was unaware of this particular rule. At the same time, I must ask you kindly not to change my "CR90" to "TrueCRaysball" in my signature. This was used based on suggestion from the admin team a decade or so ago, and it helps my signature comply with length guidelines. Once again, thank you kindly.TrueCRaysball💬|✏️21:15, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
