Hi Bobdog54,
Thank you for your message.
I did not remove some of the old references because the footnotes are not necessarily the problem. The data in the info box must have been changed at some point by a user who has made up population figures. Consequently the data does not conform to what is actually written in the sources. In order to make things more clear, I have created a sandbox (User:O.celebi/sandbox) and have quoted all the sources that I have used in the footnotes.
Although I have tried to discuss the problems in the current version of the article (inTalk:Turkish people), there has been no development for almost a month. It seems that several users have intentionally lowered the population estimates and are maintaining this together. I would appreciate it if you have a look at both the current version of the article and my sandbox and let me know what you think.
Kind regards,O.celebi (talk)10:40, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the details. I will take a look as soon as possible.Bobdog54 (talk)13:35, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry if you thought I was biting you. All I said was your edit made things worse, which it did. That's not an attack on you, just a statement that your attempt to correct the article's spelling and grammar was unnecessary. –PeeJay20:01, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I've noticed you 'correcting' reign to rein on several pages. Reign is a period in charge (as in the reign of a monarch etc.) seeReign. Rein is something used to control a horse etc. (seeRein). Please can you put right those pages you have edited. Thank you.Eagleash (talk)22:13, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
