50th Armored Division

[edit]

I've just seen your reverts at this article. I hope we're having a misunderstanding here, because I've seen your edits on U.S. military articles for at least five years.

So please, do tell me that you are fully aware that when text includes things like "a parent regiment under the United States Army Regimental System, was organized in the New Jersey, Vermont and Delaware Army National Guard. It was organized to consist of 1st Battalion at Trenton Airport, New Jersey, Company D at Burlington Airport, Vermont; Company E at New Castle Air National Guard Base, Delaware and Company F at Dover, New Jersey, all elements of the 50th Armored Division.." it almost certainly stems directly from the Lineage and Honors of the regiment concerned?

Now, I have just rechecked history.army.mil, and, CMH as usual not really covering Guard units, there is no L&H included for the 150th Aviation. I have just rechecked and also found that I inserted the original text via[1] in 2014 into the regimental article, saying it was literally from Army L&H.

You are right, we should attempt to source things. But it's not a reason for automatic removal of content.

The 36th Brigade is easier - it's active!![2] I can add that source in the next couple of days.

If you have a source, then how about creating a footnote?Billmckern (talk)20:51, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I've just run another search, this time for word strings in the 150th Avn L&H. It led me straight to[3] - so EBay or similar like maybe where I found it back 2014 wise is not necessarily a reliable source. This may be why I did not insert a reference back in 2014.Buckshot06(talk)20:47, 12 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
