Just thought I'd stop by to say "Wow". I haven't been so active in recent months, but when I come back from time to tine I see all your great work on historical football topics. It is great to see someone relatively new working so diligently in this area and generating quality work.Cbl62 (talk)16:55, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For creating and expanding high-quality content on college football players and teams and for diligent research and advocacy in saving many notable articles from deletion. In a relatively short period since 2021, the 823 articles you created have received more than 3.7 million page views! These contributions include 21 college football biographies with more than 25,000 views:
Thank you very much,Cbl62 - this means a lot coming from you!And wow, I'm surprised my creations have received that many views - when I joined back in November 2020 (initially only to write two things), I would never have guessed I would go on to create things read by millions!BeanieFan11 (talk)17:19, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Page views are an indication that people care for the subjects about which you are writing. You garnered 3.7 million views in just two-and-a-half years. That total will continue to grow in the years (and decades) ahead. Keep it up!Cbl62 (talk)17:25, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've truly lost count on how manyWP:PACKERS articles you have worked to improve over the years. It has given me renewed passion to write and has opened my eyes to some of the lesser known contributors in the history of my favorite team. Know that it's greatly appreciated, and your work to shine light on this unique part of the history of the NFL is truly an amazing contribution to Wikipedia. « Gonzo fan2007(talk) @19:53, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Seems likely there's still LLMing going on. The subjects they are covering are marginally notable but unsourced; it's unusual to see significant independent coverage of young local media figures. Your editing history atZaire at the 1984 Summer Olympics shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war. That means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Instead of reverting edits, pleasestop editing the page and discuss on thetalk page to create a version of the page that representsconsensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaininghow this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevantnoticeboard or seekdispute resolution such as aThird opinion. In some cases, you may wish to requestpage protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may beblocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you break thethree-revert rule, which states that an editormust not perform more than threereverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if it looks like you intend to continue reverting.LibStar (talk)21:55, 23 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To repeat what I asked at the nomination: How long do you spend searching for coverage for each of these athletes? Do you search in their native languages in addition to English? You're making mass nominations of dozens of articles from non-English countries on a daily basis and not specifying in the nominations that any search is being performed, which is very concerning. In a good nomination, I'd expect to see a statement of what types of BEFORE searches were attempted, as well as anything that has been found.BeanieFan11 (talk)20:44, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You only stated that you "did WP:BEFORE duly". I asked how long do you spend searching, and do you try to search in the athletes' native languages in addition to English, because if someone is making insane quantities of AFDs rapidly, it seems very unlikely that such things are occurring. Evenif a search is being performed, the nominations should be spaced out so that the editors in the topic area are not flooded with 60+ articles to search for within a week.BeanieFan11 (talk)20:48, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey BeanieFan11. I've noticed that, oftentimes, when you do nominations, you nominate first then pledge to provide a QPQ within two days. However, becauseWP:QPQ states that nominations can be closed at any time if no QPQs are provided, this leaves the possibility of your nominations being closed prematurely. Recently, some of your nominations were marked for closure because a QPQ was not provided immediately. Even though those issues have since been resolved, my suggestion is that you do your QPQs before nominating the articles for DYK, instead of after like you are currently doing. If the issue is that you do not have time to do reviews, you can hold off nominating the article until after you have accomplished your QPQs. Remember that you have seven days (plus up to two days extensions) to nominate an article, so you should have enough time to do the QPQs before nominating. Thank you and happy editing.Narutolovehinata5 (talk ·contributions)13:52, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There's only so much I can do with the amount of work I have. That may be somewhat reasonable in normal circumstances, but in this "backlog mode" requiring multiple QPQs for every nom, I don't always have the time to get that many QPQs done before every nomination. Youeven told me before that "being late by a day would be understandable". I don't understand this obsession by some editors to force immediate QPQ compliance even when there is a promise to do QPQs very soon (and if not accomplished by the promised time, I have no objection to them being failed) and even when, in Len Garrett's case, there was already a QPQ at the nom(just not two). It's not like missing a QPQ for a few hours is some substantial hindrance for reviewers; in many cases I'm waiting weeks for anyone to review my noms.BeanieFan11 (talk)14:38, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The previous page was protected due to unsourced content, but I have rebuilt the article from scratch using only reliable secondary sources (ESPN, AP News, local newspapers, Patriot League releases, etc.). All claims are cited, and I have avoided any primary or non-independent sources.
Because the article title is still protected from creation/move, I cannot publish it myself. Would you be willing to:
review the sandbox draft, and
move it into mainspace if it meets Wikipedia’s standards?
In addition, I wanted to note that Google displays a full Knowledge Panel for “Danny Lauter” (including images, team info, statistics, and biographical data). I realize this cannot be used as a source in the article itself, but I mention it here only to show that the subject already has significant digital footprint and recognition across reliable, independent outlets. If helpful, I can provide links to the underlying independent sources that Google uses (ESPN, AP News, Greenwich Time, Patriot League, etc.).
I truly appreciate any help or feedback you can offer. Thank you for your time and for your excellent work on football related pages.Dlau1515 (talk)17:46, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I think expanding the article about him would be useful, so that readers could assess whether he is reallyalso a leading authority on the history of the Olympic Games as the current article claims.Kelob2678 (talk)10:59, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That would be useful, but I'm not sure I have the time to do that. It doesn't take much effort to search his name on Google and see that's he's received several honors and published dozens of books on the history of the Olympics.BeanieFan11 (talk)17:09, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding amonth longBacklog Drive in December! The goal of this drive is toreduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
The process will have a seven day call for candidates phase, a two day pause, a five day discussion phase, and a seven day private vote using SecurePoll. Discussion and questions are only allowed on the candidate pages during the discussion phase.
The outcome of this process is identical to making a request for adminship. There isno official difference between an administrator appointed through RFA versus administrator elections.
Ask any questions about the process at thetalk page. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.
If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.
