I thought that was what you were doing when I went to look at some of the pages that were removed from these categories. The situation was even worse than you describe, the editor made a redirect for each soccer teamseason, especially from the years 2019-2021. They could probably all go toWP:RFD if I was more comfortable making huge bundled nominations but I'm not. Luckily the editor didn't make redirect pages for every year these college teams played in soccer competitions, just some recent seasons. As for categories, I know we have a few that only contain redirect pages (especially in the "songs by artist" categories) but I think they are generally allowed by policy. It doesn't make sense though to have a whole category tree populated only by redirect pages since categorization on redirects is done so sporadically and inconsistently.

Hi Aidan. You've recently added a number of articles about criminal and/or terrorist attacks to categories covering "Disasters in Ireland". TheseTroubles-related events were and are already covered by appropriate terrorism, criminality and Troubles categories. Each individual in that group is most often covered as a triplet; it's a defining characteristic about them. I asked the user who made the comment about removing the category from individualshere, and they said that it is a gray area and that I should contact you. So I don't think that the deletion decision was to remove all individuals from the categories, because inthe decision it only said "purge" with no comments about individuals. Texas has 254 counties. There are apparently about 80 baseball players from Texas not diffused by county. Only 97 counties have been diffused. We appear to not have articles on baseball players from each county. Thus I think your point is right. I wish people would bring up the numbers. Hi there. I declined the speedy on these because I think there are some inherent problems with the proposed name change that should be discussed at CFD. For example, I preferCategory:Real estate and property developers by populated place in the United States overCategory:American real estate and property developers because "American" is a nationality descriptor not a location descriptor. There are many non-Americans who live and work in the United States on a long-term basis but never become US citizens. Likewise there are Americans who live and work outside of the United States. You originally replaced what was the more standard table some years back, for where it was used. The table I put in has been used extensively spanning more than 10 years for Southeastern Conference baseball, hundreds of pages, and more recently on softball. The table used extensively for Major League Baseball for decades, possibly over a thousand pages, is neither identical to your table or mine, but displays won lost records like mine and has less info like yours. What is more standard? What difference does it make what is more standard? As far as being larger, it provides more info like series won & lost and sweeps & being swept and has had templates expanded recursively, greatly reducing CPU time required. Actually I was expanding templates recursively 2024 going back in time, in preparation for adding Oklahoma & Texas for 2025, when I came to 2022. As far as correcting your table, it is very, very difficult for me to even identify exactly what needs to change. It made sense to me to just use what I knew was correct. I would think it would make no sense to just revert something that is correct back to something that is incorrect. You don't seem to keen on correcting it yourself.

I've noticed that over the past week, you have removed articles for murder victims and murderers out of categories for "Murder". I understand that these biographical articles don't belong in a category for a Murder, in general, but please recategorize them so that the articles are somehow designated as articles for criminals or for crime victims.

I know this recategorization has resulted in you creating new categories but I just wanted to encourage this. Remove a category, add a category! I think this recatgorization is a good step but I don't want all of these articles to fall through the cracks because, in most cases, the murder is THE defining feature and why we have an article on these individuals.
