I'm an aspiring erudite who has an affinity forpedagogy ,logic ,critique andknowledge in general. Though my range of interests ispolymathic , I direct most of my attention to thenatural sciences and related fields, specificallyphysics ,chemistry ,mathematics andengineering .
My perspectives may seem unconventional as I think and interpret matters differently to standard trains of thought. I admit that I can be wrong, that I make mistakes and that I don't know everything. Nonetheless, I admireWikipedia for the grand, encyclopaedic reservoir of information it provides to the net and find pleasure in contributing as aWikipedian .
The majority of my most significant contributions have been tophysics‑related articles . More generally, I edit any article where I notice a refinement or correction I can make.
Some notable contributions and achievements of mine include:
Formulating the currently-used definition of gravitational waves on the Wikipedia article for gravitational waves.Initiating and pioneering the development of an image collage for the introduction of the physics article (which earned me the Original Barnstar).Developing a coherent set of physics and chemistry userboxes , something that surprisingly hadn’t been done before. I've also developed a lot of other userboxes too, such as on mathematics and philosophy.Adding or contributing to the lead images of the following articles (alphabetical order):Biogeochemistry ,Chemical kinetics ,Chemical thermodynamics ,Geochemistry ,Geomathematics ,Neurochemistry ,Neurophysics ,Quantum chemistry ,Solar physics . Substantially rewriting and reformatting major portions of the Sound article , refining clarity (e.g. by reducing conflation withvibrations ) and layout (especially with images).Adding an entire section on biogeometry to the Mathematical and theoretical biology article , filling a big gap in its coverage.Rebuilt the Stellar chemistry article from a severely underdeveloped state.Adding a section to the cosmic ray article about speculation that cosmic radiation may have contributed to biological evolution , an interesting biophysics hypothesis that tends to be under‑covered. For stats, feel free to checkthis out.
The Original Barnstar Nice work on the collage, especially seeking and incorporating feedback.Johnjbarton (talk ) 01:52, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
