I spent most of my professional life working for theUniversity of Michigan's academic Computing Center, Information Technology Division (ITD),Merit Network, Michigan Center for Biological Information (MCBI), and the DARPA sponsored Virtual Soldier Project (VSP). I've also worked for Interface Systems working withXerox,General Motors Proving Grounds, theU.S. Navy, andGE's Carbide Division, as well as for Computerized Office Services Incorporated (COSI),Arbortext, andPTC.
