Hello, everyone, I'mSophus Bie. Getting messages on my talk page makes me smile, so feel free todrop me a line; I swear I don't bite!

I spend my time here on Wikipedia in a multitude of ways: I oftenfight off the vandal hordes, and I can also be foundcopyediting and overhauling articles in need. I sometimeshunt down and correct typos in large swaths, or do a bit ofstub sorting. I'm also rather good at scrounging upsources for articles. I'm part of theWelcoming committee, as I believe that retaining new editors is an important part of building an encyclopedia. Occasionally, I createspoken versions of articles that already exist, as well. I don't have any particular topical focus in the article namespace; you can find me working on everything frommathematical security sampling methods, toawards given by the heirs of a ketchup empire.
