Fiction on wikipedia
The extent of fiction on wikipedia is mind-blowing. It's to be expected, I suppose: some people simply find fiction more interesting than reality and every corner of fiction has an online following of enthusiasts. I myself enjoy writing about fiction more than I do about real things. Still, I sometimes begin to think that Wikipedia is becoming more fiction than anything else. It would be interesting to know just what the number of fiction-based articles actually is. I'm not suggesting it be removed, but it's a sad reflection of the community that's trying to build an encyclopedia. In any case, I'm going to make an effort to not get sucked into more and more fiction-watching on wikipedia. Instead I'm going to try and concentrate more on what truly interests me; articles of science.

Having got bored of star trek my attention turned toBattlestar Galactica, but now I have tired of that too, and all fiction on Wikipedia generally.

Attempts to clean up the mess ofC&C-related articles have been blocked by a small group of C&C fans who insist that Wikipedia must document every facet of anything to do with C&C. See discussionhere. Evenfictional statistics are being defended - it beggars belief. And now that a new game of the series is coming out there will be no opportunity to return to this and I've decided to withdraw my meddling permanently.

Must remember to finish thePharaoh (video game) article. When I get home and install the game I shall take some screenshots (the internet is depressingly void of decent Pharaoh screenshots). TheCity Building Series article however is now pretty much complete, in my eyes. And the other games in the series I don't really know well enough to write about.
