    Hello! I registered as a Wikipedian at the start of May, 2006.

    I'm older than I should be, born inWindsor, Ontario,Canada some decades ago. I have lived inHolland Landing (inYork Region, north of Toronto) since 1994.

    I have a daughter who graduated with a Bachelors of Music (Classical vocal performance) fromMcGill University inMontreal. She previously studied through theRoyal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) and performed inOpera Atelier's production ofMozart'sThe Magic Flute in November 2006, as one of a trio of spirits. Daddy's a wee bit proud, as you might have guessed. She taught English over inGimje,South Korea for two years after earning her degree, and works atMedieval Times in Toronto.

    I spend a lot of my Wikipedia time on articles about places and things inYork Region, Ontario watching out for vandals,disambiguating things, and adding bits where I can, particularly related to Education in Ontario. I started the articles for:

    and have developed the articles forBigwin Island,Essex County, Ontario andYork Region. I try to make improvements wherever I can, including providing article assessments as well as geographic coordinates for Canadian articles.

    I am proud to say that I have also had several users (or rather, mis-users) blocked from editing Wikipedia, after detecting their 'vandalistic' behaviour. (Count started Dec 3, 2019: 40)

    Here's a little project of interest to me:/300games. Andanother. And anavbox. And anarticle being kept for the future. And agolf list.
