Before July 2005 there was no semi-active category, and semi-active admins are included in the active list.
Net admin attrition reflects the net change in status between active/semi-active and inactive/former. It may give an indication of how quickly individuals lose interest and leave the project. Monthly variation can come from the timing of status updates.
The net attrition for the year 2005 is (27), and for every one admin who left the project, 14 new admins were created.
