Vandalism is when an editor, in bad faith, makes an unconstructive edit to a page, such asblanking or adding gibberish. Sometimes gibberish or blanking can be an accident (making it simply an unconstructive edit, not vandalism), which is why it is important to alwaysassume good faith. Most of the time, my reverting edit summaries saypossible vandalism, not vandalism, because I often can't know if it's vandalism, a test, or a mistake.
My edit wasn't vandalism. How do I get it fixed without engaging in anedit war?
I may mistakenly revert your edit and label it as vandalism. If I do so, I apologize. Please state why your edit wasn't vandalism on your talk page ormine.
How can I help revert vandalism?
Thanks for wanting to help! Reverting vandalism is a never-ending job. You can joinan anti-vandalism WikiProject, or you can just revert vandalism on your own. A useful tool is therecent changes page, which is especially helpful if you use the filters to find vandalism.
No, I am not a bot. I use templates to issue notices and warnings on talk pages, but I'm a human being. :) My username is a tribute toJohn Laurens and is not my real name.
If you're JohnLaurens333, who's JohnLaurensAnthonyRamos333?
That's me! I changed my username from JohnLaurensAnthonyRamos333 to JohnLaurens333 for the sake of convenience on January 13th, 2025.
What are your pronouns?
For privacy reasons, I don't like to disclose my off-wiki pronouns, but on-wiki you can use they/them for me if you like.
WikiLove is a term that refers to a general spirit ofcollegiality and mutual understanding amongwiki users. It was coined over time on themailing lists.
If we keep this common goal, this love of knowledge, in mind, if we concentrate on achieving aneutral point of view even when it is difficult, and if we try to actuallyunderstand what the other side has to say, then we can reach the state of "WikiLove".
To enable an easy widget for placing WikiLove on Talk pages, go to the editing tab of yourPreferences, check off the box for Enable showing appreciation for other users with the WikiLove tab, scroll to the bottom of the preferences page, and save your change. Or you can manually use the templates linked below. Happy editing, and spread WikiLove!
I'm sometimes an impulsive editor, soplease be patient with me! I thought I was more careful with my edits, but NOPE! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My overeager self always takes control. Sorry for any inconveniences that may cause. I'll do my best!

Nothing annoys this user more than when a teacher says that Wikipedia isn't reliable and that anybody can enter anything completely untrue that'll stay.
