
Heya! I am Guerillero.[a] I am anAdministrator andArbitrator here on the English Wikipedia and a member of theWikimedia Foundation Elections Committee. Previously, I served four years on theArbitration Committee over two terms. From my experience, I am the author of anunofficial guide to arbitration with suggestions for parties about how to navigate the process.
I joined Wikipedia in November 2009 and became an Administrator two years later.[1] In 2012, I was appointed as anArbitration Committee Clerk.[2] The next year, I resigned as a clerk to accept an appointment to a community seat on theAudit Subcommittee.[3] In August, the Arbitration Committee allowed me to retainOversight at the conclusion of my term on the Audit Subcommittee.[4]
In December of 2014, I was elected to a two-year term on theArbitration Committee.[5] When I left the Arbitration Committee in 2016, I retained the Oversight andCheckUser rights.[6] Due to inactivity, I lost Oversight access in 2018.[7] The same year, I was reappointed as an Arbitration Committee Clerk.[8]
In 2020 and 2022, I managed to get two articles to pass review atFeatured Article Candidates. I was elected to a second two-year term on the Arbitration Committee in December 2022.[9] A third article passed review at Featured Article Candidates in 2023. The same year, theWikimedia Foundation Governance Committee appointed me as an advisory member of theWikimedia Foundation Elections Committee.[10] When I cycled off the Arbitration Committee in 2025, I gave up the Oversight right but retained CheckUser.[11] I was appointed as a voting member of the Elections Committee in April 2025.[12] I was elected to a one-year term on the Arbitration Committee in December.[13]
